the turret of this version looks better than the cobi one, and i like the interior, it's very difficult to get something like that in this scale. i think it's a win for Quan Guan.
@@waldek2303 You mean comander's cupola. The front transaxle hatches on cobi don't open. And the turret shape on cobi is horrible, plus Cobi lack interior details. However Cobi also has a opening escape hatch by the side of the tracks. The only thing i wish cobi add, is opening sides on the turret, and interior. I might get the quan guan just to see if i can use the parts to upgrade my Cobi by adding some pieces.
Lol they already started doing that in the previous Tiger and Panther already, and the new T34 and KV1 also got brick built engines. No more identical modled engines for any tanks :)
I'm really waiting for new Tigers from cobi. Finally "proper" tanks with interiors and actual turret basket. They are upping their game, and so does the competition as it seems

IMO Quan Guan really nailed it with this one, i really like how they did the Pz.3's turret cheeks with using actual sloped bricks, too bad they didn't do the commanders copula there, so close to perfection :

Ja, er sieht noch etwas schwächer aus als der Cobi Counterpart. Muss sich aber nicht allzuweit dahinter verstecken. Die beiden können auch entspannt Spaß nebeneinander haben :) QuanGuan müsste aber mal in der Farbmischerei nachforschen. Da sind schon ein paar beige Töne mehr drin als geplant, oder?
Naja, neuer Trend ist ein wenig übertrieben... Modelle mit Interieur gab es schon öfters. Daher passt das schon. Trotz allen ein schönes Modell! Wobei ich lustig finde, das die Chinesen sich jetzt schon selber kopieren - schaut wirklich wie das Cobi-Modell aus 😅😂! Gruß und weiter so!

It's not an exact copy...you can see at the end of the video in comparison that different construction techniques and not the same types of stones are used and therefore not the same shape/design
@@thatwargaming5459 From my point of view, more than just a few small things have been changed...the hull is constructed differently and the turret is completely different...is there an interior space on the Cobi tank? For me the similarities are that it has the same real model, the Panzer 3, and is constructed on the same scale, so there are strong similarities and parallels...but that doesn't make it a copy. But the idea looks different, it could have been strongly inspired by Cobi

i'm glad interior is the new trend. it's always cool to know that you have one on a tank while displaying it.
Vehicles with interior are always fun to build, sometimes interior can be a challenge, which makes stuff more interesting
Finally quan guan did the brick quality alot better

The turret is better but there is no commander's turret. The hull details are worse and the idler and drive wheel sizes are a joke.
