Muddy Horse Grooming | Satisfying Horse Grooming Video

Happy August! And because it's August I am going to give you a new relaxing, and satisfying horse video every day! Video every day in August time!
I LOVE grooming my horses. I spend more time grooming them then I do riding! And for me - that works. I think all of the time really helps my horses to be more quiet on the ground when I am working with them. I have been around other horses that are always nervous, always walking around when they are tied, and just disrespectful on the ground. And I hear their riders say that they are fine when they are being ridden. But I want my horses to be respectful and quiet whether I am working with them on the ground, or in the saddle. And spending lots of time grooming them really helps.
And if you want to challenge yourself to get your horse super quiet from the ground up, why not do a little bit of grooming, every day for the next 30 days to see if you can get your horse to be as quiet as my horses are? It won't happen overnight, but with practice and patience on your part - your horse will get better.
Take Plezant for instance. When I brought him home he would not stand still, I couldn't tie him, and he was so nervous when I was working with him. And look at him now! Quiet, respectful, and content to be tied up. That is what happens with lots and lots of grooming!
In this video I am using my FAVORITE curry comb to get the mud off of him. It is a Decker Curry Comb. And I like it because of the web strap for holding my hand in while I am working the curry comb. I found this one on Amazon and it is very similar.
