It happened again & again where bus & lorry drivers caused fatalities. Worst and often findings of these drivers to have multiple offences, no licenses, tested positive on drugs and even sufficient sleep. Initially lots of noise but eventually it will died down and all will back to same square 1!

Kebanyakan bas tidak sesuai di atas jalanraya. Tak tau macam mana dapat keluluskan daripada puspakom. JPJ tolong pantau bas-bas dan lori-lori di highway PLUS. Mereka tidak ikut lorong yang dikhaskan, slalu pandu di lorong tengah. Seolah-olah highway PLUS milik mereka.

Malaysia harus memperketatkan permohonan sebagai pemandu bas dan memastikan keadaan bas yang berfungsi baik dan bersih supaya keselamatan dan keselesaan penumpang terjamin .
Maybe the driver got no experience in driving the Genting route. Or maybe the bus itself also got brake and other mechanical problem. Or the bus company itself got financial problem and didn't service their buses regularly.

Dah berpuluh tahun dengar selalu adanya bus crash adalah bus driver tak ada lesen.....ni tak pernah diselesaikan, sepatutnya semua syarikat dikehendaki ambil bus driver yg berlesen tapi syarikat tak ambil tau dan kerajaan tak ambil berat, ada saja kemalangan barulah kata kerana bus driver tak ada lesen baru jadi kemalangan dan tak pernah ada polisi yg membantu. Ada polisi ada pulak puak2 yg tak puas hati nak membangkang dan buat demonstrasi
The root causes are mostly the reckless drivers behind huge vehicles like trucks, buses, lories, etc. Many drives over the speed limit listed on their vehicle. They drive 1 meter behind small cars. They behave like bullies and place no value in other people lives. These drivers, not just tour bus drivers, need to be taken off the road, penalized heavily for bad behaviour, etc. Lawful drivers should be given means to report these bad drivers. Most people have dash cam, JpJ should create means for reporting against these drivers. Jpj should follow through with such reports diligently to ensure drivers jpj allows on road do not harm innocent lives.
Kami sekeluarga ada atuk nenek , ibu ayah anak dan cucu ,naik bas company famous nama pun milion2 Bilion2 exclusive dlm gambar tiketnya pun agak mahal ada pengalaman hari raya yg lalu kita naik dri pulau Penang nak balik kl. Sesudah bertolak dlm 30 minit kita mengidu baru asaf rokok dan nampak naik dari ruang driver ke ting atas jadi kami menegur driver EN , mana boleh merokok ini bus ber Air conditioner beri tutup dan kami ada bayi kecil dan orang tua yg ada masalah Asma, Driver balas dng saya pulak tak boleh memandu jika tak merokok dan sepanjang perjalanan 12jam yg dilalui dng jam teruk kita di paksa duduk didalam , driver bus puaskan selera dia sepanjang perjalanan, ini lah keadaan sebenar kita ong Tua malaysia tegur dng cara baik Tapi masing2 guna kuasa unt kepentingan diri , pelanggan di angap saperti sampah, Apa tak lagi nasib pelancung luar negara.
How can the travel agency still be proven innocent? Taking customers/visitor money but don't know who the driver is? Unless the bus is high jacked if not the responsibility lies on the company who provide the bus(faulty) and bus driver(20+summonses/no license)

Last month I went to Vietnam for holiday. The tour bus driver drive very careful and not speeding not over 90km which I'm impressed follow the rules. For Malaysia which I see the enforcement not doing good enough to curb the unlicensed driver with so many summons. The problem is PDRM still give discount on summons which encourage drivers to speeding as they like without thinking to other people. I do hope Ministry of transport to increase high summons WITH NO ANY DISCOUNTS to offenders

There is really no such thing as a traffic "accident". The police tend not to use that word. That suggests that there is no cause. But everything has a cause. Bad road, bad bus, bad tour company, bad driver... Of course the driver did not want to cause the incident, but he could still have caused it anyway.

Its always things happened then start to rectify!!! Why cannot prevent! When people are dead, apologised meant nothing! I believed there are more buses without good maintenance and drivers without valid licences! No proper systems! Politicians busy power struggles!
If you really want to know it is quite easy to find out. Look at some other news channels, they do not all hide the bus licence plate. Then search on the ministry of transport website for example.

Some of the seat belts are not working. And some of the buses no seat belt at all. Some of the drivers also speeding very fast.

The problem is PDRM still give discount on summons which encourage drivers to speeding as they like without thinking to other people. I do hope Ministry of transport to increase high summons WITH NO ANY DISCOUNTS to offenders

the POINT here is tourists buses plying the Genting Highlands route :: too much deaths to innocent tourists both local and FOREIGN.
There is really no such thing as a traffic "accident". The police tend not to use that word. That suggests that there is no cause. But everything has a cause. Bad road, bad bus, bad tour company, bad driver... Of course the driver did not want to cause the incident, but he could still have caused it anyway.
