The best part was that it's shiny in the battle even though it wasn't at all shiny when choosing mons

Geez there's all sorts of curveballs in the first minute alone: the title provides us with the info of team-building from their PCs for a double battle, then we also learn that USUM are the games used this time, AND each box has 3 shinies, each having potential to replace itself with any other mon upon the player's choosing! Battleship is one of my favorite non-starter TWF series, and it's good to see when you play in different games rather than SWSH and SV most of the time

I play VGC, (Albeit not as good as most players lmao) so seeing this group play doubles always excites me way more, I wish theyd play doubles more commonly but I understand singles are more popular so it makes sense.

I love the idea of the three shinies! Maybe try dittos next time, and if you guys pick one of the three dittos, you can pick one of the four pokemon to either side of above and below!

Should do bingo next where you guys have a 5 by 5 grid filled with good Pokémon. First round both choose one mon on your 5 by 5 grid. Battle then the winner of each round say which Pokémon they will choose allowing the Opponent to counter pick or try to pick a mon in the bingo card that helps them win 5 in a row. Point is to win battles strategically to make a bingo while also prevent you opponent try’s to do the same.
can make rules like Pokémon can only be used once per game but I feel it could be harder. Maybe no back to back picking meaning you gotta switch it up
