One thing ive noticed and haven't seen anyone else mention is if your a female, don't wear leggings that are too tight or thick around the waist. I used to use this one pair quite often as its the only one with pockets, but when i stopped using it i got runners stomach a lot less often

100% makes sense, if you are adding pressure that is going to literally squeeze things

Thank you ma’am! I realize that I’m doing all of these 😭 I come from a strength training background and I’ve always ran… but nothing more than 4 miles. Im prepping for my first marathon and I really want to take this serious and have no problems the day of. Today I had to worst diarrhea.. good thing I was running on the treadmill so I was able to get to the restroom. I was going for a long run but I only got to mile 4, tried running again after and it was just a no. Thank you for the advice I’ll definitely try running with no pre workout, maybe not eating so many veggies and ummm actually taking gels/ hydration. Much love for you girl! 🙏

Hello. I get Runners Diahhrea usually after an hour or so after a long distance run but not during the run. However I can tell when it will occur later in the day because my Center Core/GI prohibits myself from running at 100 percent during the run and my legs feel heavy later throughout the run. Anyways anybody know what will cause this? Thanks great video !

all of these could cause it, but dehydration or overhydration would be a big guess.

I have heard alot of times now, that blood is diverted from the digestive system to the muscles and the skin for enhanced performance and cooling. But what evidence is there, for the the lack of blood in the digestive system, to actually cause runner's trots? I would think, that the digestion would slow down to a stop completely, not an emptying? Thanks

Sure that lack of flow is irritating to the digestive system which then causes a strong urge to go, plus you are boucing around enhancing that irritation and urge

Dried Apricots 😭😭 the sulfur dioxide of dried fruit gives me the runs 😭 I used to take them as nutrition on medium runs because it doesn't stick to your pockets but maaaan did that backfire 😂😂

ha! Yes unfortunately there is no one size fits all. But maybe the dried pineapple!! It helps with digestion.
