I am amazed about the details and information about this clay! It's a bit hard to find very informative videos when you're starting something new; It's my first time using clay and I don't know which one to buy or which one is good because I always thought that the more expensive is the clay the better it is and i don't have the income to buy an expensive clay😅. I bought the little bucket of the same clay(Play Doh) on Saturday because i want to make a "normal" mask for my skull cat mask for Halloween(I know Halloween is over and we are starting the year but I'm still exited😂). So I can show people the "normal" mask then boom take it off and scare them with the skull mask😂.
Awww, thank you so much for your very kind words. I always like to bring as much information to my videos as possible... sometimes I have to stop myself from talking too much😆... but it's the only way to pass on the information that I've collected over the years. I have plenty of other tips and techniques on my channel about clay, so please take a look if you have time. Good luck with your Halloween mask! 🎃😀.... and thank you once again for your lovely comments.
Thank you. I'm glad you found it informative. I always like to try and pack as much information into my videos and give both the pros and cons of products, and possible ways to work around some of the cons. Thanks for taking the time to comment 😀
Loved this video! Not only a great and detailed review, but great to finding out pretty cool tips for working with air clay 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you and cheers! 😊
@@sof_d You're very welcome. It's a great product and so much cheaper than many similar clays on the market. Have fun if you get to use it in your projects😀
Hi Antony, Thanks so much for your tutorial. Just a quick question about the drying of the Air Clay. I got some for Christmas and made a few little things. My creations have been drying for about 36 hours now and they are still squishy. I can't find anywhere that describes if the Air Clay is supposed to dry hard or squishy, any advise?
Hi there, and thank you for your kind words. The clay can take about a week to dry. It all depends on how thick the piece is. It will harden in time, but won't be like normal clay and go rock hard. There will always be a certain amount of flexibility with it. If you're going to be making pieces that are quite thick, then I'd recommend you wrap the clay round tin foil (the foils acts like a skeleton) That way you'll be using less clay and it will dry quicker. Hope that makes sense. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask away. I'm always happy to help 😀
@akemitsukino thank you for your question. As long as you use fine grit sandpaper, this clay will sand nicely. Just don't use course sandpaper otherwise, it may ruin your project. I hope this helps 😀
Once set, the Playdoh clay stays quite hard. However, if you were to add water to it, it would soak up the water and go mushy. So it wouldn't make it malleable again, so you can use could use it. This is also the same for Hearty clay. If whilst sculpting it you want to smooth it out, then a drop of water can certainly help. I hope that helps answer your question. 😀
🐐 video thanks isn’t it funny how something I picked up for my kids I’m stealing for my own use? Oh well payback for all the times they destroyed my expensive art supplies😂
I've used Hearty Clay for years, but whenever I see something to do with moulds or clay, I have to investigate more. This Playdoh clay really was a great find. Certainly love to hear what you think about it, if you get some😀
Thanks enjoyed this, must try some xx
Thank you, Debra. The clay is certainly worth a try. I'm sure you'll put it to good use 😀

Hello! Would you say that this clay sands well?
