Playing duo with my friend and been wondering if more members makes the mission harder or has no effect?
We been clutching almost every challenge level mission from lvl 3 to now lvl 7 which is getting easier as we unlock more things and learn more but we totally cannot complete a hard level mission yet

7700x ryzen 4070 nvidia. The game is also optimized very nicely too. DLSS makes it even more crazy optimized
@@FRESHY_GG It should run poorly on recommended settings, like rtx 2070 super or little under that - rtx 2060 (castle sieges and zergs scenarios)
im curious, you know how you can pay money to server transfer? if its all going to be one game globally i dont see them wiping the korean servers for that, does that mean players could transfer from the korean servers to NA for example?
Its still going to be region locked I assume to prevent that. Something like Lost Ark, you can transfer character within region, but you can play with your account on different regions just everytime you would need new character.

I really enjoyed the story of Throne and Liberty.
I actually spent time in CBT to enjoy the story rather than rush like I did in KR. Its actually very enjoyable once you try to understand it
Is there an exact release date? or rough estimate?
Leaks that guessed CBT were true and they also said June release,.so we will see
Its crazy how ppl are accepting p2w just to come back after 2000hrs gameplay and complain about it.

instanced pvp is only for rifstones/boonstones. pvp events and world bosses remain the same

The monetization was different from the KR version in the Global closed beta.

I had no real expectations going into the CBT, I really didn't know much about the game except the negative publicity it got for its combat, but I had a lot of fun in the CBT and really want to play it again.
Negative publicity is the vocal minority unfortunately. Those are the people who didnt even try the game and they just talk bad about cause they are sheep.
@@FRESHY_GG tbh i havent play the game yet, none the less i can admit it look good, ppl that complain about p2w dont get that even in most game that dont have it can surely still buy currency from farmer, so i prefer when the game skip that bs and just allow you to get it trought their own store, plus the thing you buy are all obtainable in game (not in a diablo immortal way , where 1000$ equal 7 months of 24/7 gameplay)
And since my playtime is very limited, it allow me to spend some money and focus the little time i have on content i wanted to play.
What i dont like is when p2w gave unfaire or more power than you can get if you dont spend, which dont seem to be an issue here

Mmm we had zergs on L2 but that didn't prevent the higher skill alliance from staying on top in many scenarios. If you prevent zergs artificially its just going to lead to these players leaving because they know they can't compete 1 to 1 and a dead game in the long run I fear. There has to be a balance somewhere in the middle.
The pvp in TL is to far from L2 to be able to compare.
TL is just shallow pvp. It's like a zerg of solo players spamming buttons. L2 was a zerg of coordinated 9 man parties.
Love the pve direction ncsoft goes. The 2 Star dungeons are kinda challenging. For some ppl its also to hard so they nerfed some stuff already. Also there is a loot "difference" for the challange dungeons. You can get there those parchment papers you need to craft books for those lastly added spells (those cannot be upgraded with the normal books).
True about parchment, but maybe a different gear piece would also be nice to have as a reward
cross server matchmaking is up like two weeks in Korea already
Interesting. I guess people don't queue then through matchmaking and still prefer spamming LFG in world chat.

only for basic dungeon. challenge and 2 star you have to do manual recruitment. however matchmaking gave people buff (20% damage and 25% health)
excellent review, one thing missing are the bots, OMG when I played the Korean version three months ago, there were bots everywhere and no one cares even to stop them. If bots come back in global version it may mean utter destruction to the game
The thing they can do for duty finder is do the same thing as ff14.
The title is so devicing, they haven't say anything, NC or Amazon.
The dungeon interface looks like Lost Ark!
I mean there's a simple fix to being outnumbered... put a cap on the amount of allowed people from each alliance... and for guilds and alliances to simply... recruit. it's how other games do it, its a no brainer.. if you dont have the numbers don't participate until you do
Cross Server auction house would help with the economy

arenas and bg's are coming. rest im not too sure, crafting and gathering is a bit lackluster

Well im not sure if you've played the Korean version but NC has stated that they have no plans on changing its current monetization format and currently purchased currency is used to buy auction house gear then a separate currency is used to buy the enchant mats now yes both Can be farmed in game however you can only farm a fraction of the currency through daily quests and contracts now implement that strategy in game that has a focus on pvp and it becomes p2w
Life is p2w, kid.
Monetization is amazing. You can pay to skip the grind, however it only skips the grind, a paying player in no way shape or form can become MORE powerful than a free to play player. No more powerful gear for paying custumers,. In fact, the most powerful items in game can only be obtain through gameplay. I have nothing against pay to level up faster. As long as they do not, in the end, become more powerful than a free player.
@@captainharlock3998 to have any relevant power spike with p2w you would need to spend 40-50k USD in the first few weeks due to everything being extremely expensive. Later on the prices will be lower and stuff will be cheaper so p2w will be cheaper, but at that point 95% of f2p players will have all that gear that others might p2w for.

Glad other people are enjoying it, I gave it a go in the beta but not for me. I'd rather stay with Albion Online which has more intense zvz and open world pvp, good progression and not full of korean gamba mechanics and p2w shit. It does look great visually though.

Auction house prices dropped a few weeks ago when the CBT was announced. Most of the ppl stopped playing the game and waiting now for the global release. So there is no reason to put more real money in it for lucent. The only way to get alot of lucent is the siege/tax event but most of the guilds also took a break so yeah. If nobody buys your stuff they will go down with the prices.

I am quite excited for TL, but communication from AGS is abysmal. Its been a week since the last beta and there are no news. They posted that song no one cares about and thats it. From what I know the game is in a very releasable state but hey are not giving a quarter date for release.

Eventually I'm sure most servers will be merged in 2-3 active and populated ones just like its happening in KR. Good thing is NCSoft has the technology developed for merging servers, unlike Lost Ark

I guess they didn't think it's such a priority to have different voices. It's not like your character speaks, you would only have different grunt sounds they make when casting skills.
This HP check in dungeon boss mechs is so bullshit. Thats another big reason many dont do Tier 2 dungeons. They have big dps but 8k HP not enough rip

Videos like these indicate it might be sooner rather than later. Ive seen multiple youtubers who played CBT to pick up pace of their coverage which speaks for itself.
Look, the game is ready, and it was ready for 2-3 months. Translation and localization was ready even with Korean release in Dec 2023. My guess is amazon wanted to wait and see how the reception for the game is on KR. CBT is the proof of that. Copium release June, realistic release end of July - beginning of August. Looking at how amazon released Lost Ark 3 months after final CBT , I'm going to speculate that mid July is looking like it would release. Also keep in mind that the leaks that happen few weeks ago, predicted the date for CBT and they also leaked the release date in June. So we will see.

If it's P2W, it's literally no different than any MMO that has been released in the last 10 years. Just another time sink with nothing but instant gratification for its general game loop. I'll continue waiting for AoC.

No no it will not they have no intentions of changing the monetization format that they have implemented in the Korean version it's not just cosmetics and mounts it's directly used to buy both auction house gear and enchanting Mats it will be dead in a few months deal with it

P2w is ok`ish, as a minimum of 20-30k USD are needed to make a difference and even after that investment one is far far away from god mode or even to be invincible. I`ve met only small issues which could be fixed quite easily and the game could start globally sooner than fall.
No races/classes was the major let down for me, hope they think about adding something to solve that issue.
Its a low fantasy mmorpg so its very unlikely that there will be races, and this weapon system adds a dynamic that class system would never be able to. You can be a mage in pve, assassin in pvp and tank in solo content all on one character if you want to. Class system doesnt have this dynamic

@@MARMOTAPLAY825 There is a Charr looking NPC from GW2 in TL somewhere. I remember seeing it when doing story. Maybe there is possibility in the future for DLC or Expansion that adds new races and new lore to the story.

I quit after 1st siege. So in February I stopped playing and trying to gear up. That's why I'm making this video to see what's changed. I have full purple gear, I just don't have any traits on them

Not even close to a Final Fantasy clone lmao especially with PvP as heavy as it is not to mention open world PvP. Whereas FFXIV its limited strictly to BGs and Arena style. Not to mention classless system as its tied to the specific weapons used.

There's only two currency that matters; sollant and lucent. You clearly have no idea what the game is about.
There are only 2 currencies, rest is not really a currency more like tokens you spend doing activities. You can definitely play solo and enjoy the game. Most of the stuff you do require solo grind. Only guild stuff is pvp, sieges, boonstones, guild bosses.

F2p with p2w and to much daily quests and hourly events, this game sucks up your time and your money if u want to stay relevant in it.
you dont need to do all events all the time. you only get books from them. there are no daily quests other then 10 contracts per day that take 15min, p2w is very light compared to other MMORPGs. you can not play for 2-3 weeks, come back and you wouldn't be behind other players, as the game as a whole progresses with time slowly. and also, which MMORPG doesn't suck up time to stay relevant? give me one example of any MMORPG where you don't need to play to stay relevant? gamers today expect everything to be handed on the silver platter without spending time. you should stick to single player games and don't play MMORPGs

@@FRESHY_GG Ncsoft had some good titles like Lineage/Aion/B&S/Wildstar, i enjoy these games mostly on private servers because, except perhaps Wildstar, everything was ruined by ncsoft's greed. currently waiting for B&S neo and thier vision so far seams ok, we will see.
try to watch this video by - LazyPeon "Black Desert Online PAY TO WIN RANT" in my opinion it matured like wine. Among other things, I also enjoyed BDO to a certain extent and for a while :)

yes these games are simpler than most MMORPGs and yes you invest in them disproportionately less time to understand them thus they attract more people in less time, but still I think there can be f2p mmorpg without p2w it will just take longer for them to it will return their initial investment. and of course it won't be that profitable and it will mainly depend on the quality of the game.
Yeah and B&S neo is copium :D but as i said we will see (for me is it still one of the best combat system in mmorpg, although it is more or less Fighting game combat style)

i stopped watching the moment you said that the secret dungeon is not doable using bow. I am a bow main and i am not even lock item yet but i am consistently in top 10 every week. Don't blame the game if the problem is the player. I was continuously watching your vids from sometime now but it seems there are toxicity on your recent contents now a days. What are you on about? Secret dungeon was difficult when it came out. I didn't have good gear like you can have it today. I was playing on a 300ms and sometimes it was very hard to dodge and counter fast attacks. And how am I bad mouthing the game when I literally only uploaded TL content since December? Criticizing the game isn't bad mouthing. I made few videos where I had some concerns about specific issues, but I love TL and I have tons of new content planned for the future.

The content was very easy now that you would die of boredom unlike when all the content first came out that you will think of a good strategy to finish. My experience is that it was hard when it released cause of ping issues, lower gear and not understanding mechs for first few runs. It ain't that deep. I still love the game
