I LOVE that you showed how NOT to make every petal the same. To make different cuts, make them 'original'..... Nature isn't perfect, and this idea makes the flower look even more realistic! Thank you!!!
I just used your tutorial to make my first ever crepe paper flower and it was so easy to follow and my flowers came out looking amazing! I used the same paper you used just in a different color. Thank you for sharing!!
My first time ever seeing a crepe paper flower being done and it's absolutely gorgeous and soooo realistic! I've only made paper flowers. I will have to do further research to find out more about florist crepe paper before I begin this new-to-me craft. Thank you for sharing...I really enjoyed it and found your instruction precise.
Thank you! That's how I started too! There's tons of inspiration out there. Some recommendations are Jennifer Tran and Tiffanie Turner. Tiffanie will blow your mind!
These look gorgeous. I have been looking for flowers that I could pin on hats and crepe paper has that texture thats kind of almost like fabric. I cant wait to get some to try this.
I enjoyed your tutorial. Can you tell me the width and length of your leaves? How many you cut. Would love a template of both the petals and the leafs. They are beautiful
I don't use a specific measurements. I really wing-it. A rough estimate would be about 2 - 3.5 inches long and anywhere in between. I usually don't make them any wider than 1 - 1.5 inches - this is cupped measurements. For uncupped, and with Italian heavy weight crepe, about half an inch.
Thank you! You can definitely do that. I've created smaller versions of these (on a stem) and displayed them in a shadowbox frame. I've also created a crepe paper sunflower on a greeting card, so you can mix this craft up to suit your project.
@@JenniferNostalgia thank you so much! To make it a wall flower, you think I should start with a stem and feed through the cardboard circle and cut the stem once I’m done? Or what would you suggest?
Hi James, I'm in Canada so I get it online. Amazon, Lia Griffith or Carte Fini. I have a blog post that's talks about the types of Crepe Paper and where to find them online. nostalgiahandmadedesigns.com/2020/06/27/types-of-crepe-paper/
I have used double sided crepe paper with this flower, but haven't demonstrated it. I have another video coming out soon where I use fine crepe paper with PanPastels with this flower as well...and thank you 😊

Thank you! Heavy crepe paper is pretty durable, just be careful, as the color will change when exposed to sunlight.
You've just given a wonderful tutorial! Thank you very much! I've learned a lot from that:)
You're very welcome!

Genial 😃
Jennifer, I love this peony so much! How do you think it would look if I put it on a card board backing for a wall display instead of a stem?
Thank you! You can definitely do that. I've created smaller versions of these (on a stem) and displayed them in a shadowbox frame. I've also created a crepe paper sunflower on a greeting card, so you can mix this craft up to suit your project.

Super!!!💋💋💋👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏💓💓💓
Thank you very much
Can you make a template in PDF for the petals? That would help too much. To download the PDF file and print the templates
Your peonies are outstanding! Can we sell the peonies we make from your tutorial?
Of course. You can do whatever you like with what you make. 😊
Could you tell me what the stem is? Can I find it on Amazon?
Floral wire. This particular stem is paper wrapped but it can be any wire that will hold your flower. Likely you can find this on amazon.
Please what real crepe paper I can buy? Is any special name? Becoz there is lots kind
The crepe paper used in this video is Cartotecnica Rossi crepe paper. Very high quality paper. Hope this helps. 😀
@@JenniferNostalgia thank you I will find it, fnx
Do you have any recommendations for where to get this crepe paper? My local Hobby Lobby surprisingly didn't have any.

Would/have you been able to demonstrate this with each layer/petal a different color?
