As a middle league player I once had four matchpoints and couldn't close it out. It is of course also a bit luck, I had a shuttle dancing on the net which didn't get over and my opponent had one that did. Took me a couple of weeks to not feel angry about this loss.😅Seeing results like this on the highest level sure helps.😜
Christie has all the tools to be a top player… the speed, agility, stamina, and crazy movement but he just needs to improve his mental fortitude. This reminds me of the final in Korea he played against Weng Hongyang when he literally had one hand on the trophy but then choked and let it slip away.
@@ashokgohain1814 I respectfully disagree.. I recall a match he had with Li Shifeng months ago when he beat Li with pure stamina at the end. He was picking up the shuttle immediately after every point, not needing to rest and refusing to give Li any extra time to catch his breath.
