I've got this camera for use in car on track. Worked great and the stabilisation is fab. BUT...once it is in position and you are strapped in no way of knowing if its still on, or recording with the remote.. lost a full days track time once...
Just started testing my Cooau. So far I'm really impressed by its quality for a $50 action camera. I have a couple GoPro cams also, so I'll be using the Cooau as my main vloging camera due to the mic imput. NICE!
How is the mic input working for out for you? Is the audio level good? I'm asking because I have a Apeman A79 and it records audio so low its unusable.
Ok, lost the directions for the Cooau 4K EIS. You tube shows nothing on this model for instruction . All 3 buttons are on top any Idea where to get them ? They are newer or different models . The reviews are just reviews not actual instructions. Google was a waist of time. Help please.

I'll go out and buy a Victure AC700 or a Crosstour CT 8500 or a Apeman A79 if it comes to that. (They had Webcam mode before Corona) But you keep calling them because some have said that it works I. The comments.
Did you have to boost or enhance the sound with software? I'm asking, because I'm on the verge of returning my Apeman a79 and getting this because even after trying two different microphones the audio is very low. I have to keep the microphone pressed against my lips.

Do you know what problem could it be? I already tryed to uninstal the app and reeinstall, already went far from others networks, did everything i could do and can't fix it =/

The video quality isn't the greatest, and that's a deal breaker for me. It reminds me of those discount digital cameras they sell at mom-and-pop electronics stores. Very grainy.

Because of your review, and because it was the only camera with an external microphone, I ordered this camera, and I enjoyed until it got stolen from my car. So, am glad I only lost $50. The battery won't last that long, so I just used it as a dash cam always plugged in. The microphone included was nothing special but it did allowed you to get more direct and personal sound. These camera have very low gain so you have to speak really loud and into the mic to get good sound. The image quality is just average, footage looks great when it is sunny out, not so good on cloudy days or night time. You get what you paid for. Fast forward a couple of years, the budget market hasn't really changed, nothing new that offers anything better than this camera does, the only thing that has changed is this camera now cost $80 after the pandemic. Go figure.
I actually BOUGHT this camera and the video is terrible. I think they are doing a bait and switch. Giving reviewers one version and shipping another. It is NOT true 4K and the EIS is really bad. Color balance is way off too.

Its actually really good! at 4:50 it impressed me quite alot! Made me wonder if I really needed my dji osmo action camera.

you have to email their support. They will send you a .rar file. Let me know how good and compatible it is.
