Hi guys.
I am really excited for today's video. This is by far the MOST requested hair colour I've gotten. I am going to be dying my hair BLUE. I'll be bleaching my roots, some other re-growth, and finally dying my hair. It's quite a long process But I mention EVERYTHING There is to know, or referencing to some other videos where I mention more in-detail.
Hair dye used:
-ON ROOTS : Adore Hair Dye - Indigo Blue (1 bottle) + Crazy Colour Hair dye - Black (1/4 of a bottle)
-ON REST OF HAIR: 1 bottle Adore hair dye - Indigo Blue
I put a ton of work in editing & creating this video, it took me at least 3 days to put it all together, and I hope you enjoy it!

Literally same lol. My hair was also a really faded out red JUST like that actually, with my roots all grown our and everything. I used color oops first and then I bleached lol that seemed to help some but I'm dying my hair blue tonight and wanted to know if itd still look good since certain strands are darker yellow than the rest lol
OMG your hair is so healthy! After all the bleaching and coloring it still looks so smooth and soft. I'm jealous! Blue is always my fav hair color but my hair will be ruined after just one time bleaching!
You should do like a ombré (black on top and blue bottom)

I'm hoping I don't get too many patches of teal in my hair as I have dark brown natural hair with a little bit of faded ginger/blond dye in it when we tried to do blond/ginger highlights at home but didn't quite work out as didn't do bleach since we hadn't done the hair dye before. One thing I remember from it is that it stung a little on the skin and it STUNK. But if it's done right then it would be worth it. So that's why I'm going to the hair dressers today for a consultation on options of colours and dying options for my thick dark hair. I was terrified of the thought of dying it but now I'm TOTALLY EXCITED for it but still nervous of course with it being a first time with a bright colour. I'm going for the lower half of my hair only as an ombre look with dark brown into dark blue into light blue/teal.

It looks so cute! It turned out pretty well, considering that your hair was so uneven before putting the dye in. I think blue is the hardest color to get right when it comes to hair. no matter how dark it is, the yellow and reds still show through to create purple, green, light & dark patches. Mine was the same way when I dyed it dark blue about 3 years ago. You make me want to do dark blue again!!

this looks sooo good! im purchasing royal navy from Adore. is one bottle (out of the four) the right amount for your whole head?
adore is super pigmented so you should mix it with some white conditioner. ive used my bottle on my little longer than shoulder length hair twice and still have like half or 1/3 of a bottle
If it’s available near you, try stripping your color with a product like one n only color fix. It’ll take some of the previous color out and make the bleaching process easier! :)
I was initially going to try that, but it costs around 40 euro to get here and I heard it doesn't do much. Thanks though!

I just did the exact same thing with semi permanent blue & it came out so splotchy. I had never used it before so I assumed it would lather but nooo. I’m just gonna put permanent over it
When i re-dyed it a few days after it came out a lot better. It was my fault for messy application.

I am kinda dumb but do you need to add any “developer”? To the hair dye I mean. or can you just put it straight on your hair.
you aren’t dumb at all! if it’s “semi permanent” or “demi permanent” like the ones i used in this video then no, but if it says permanent then yes mixing developer is necessary :)
I don’t wanna bleach my real hair, since my hair is sandy brown do you think the dye will show?
No love, it will be green, the only way to get blue to be bright and true to its colour is to have a pale blonde base before. Maybe you can try a different colour, or just ombre/dye a small section of hair?
i dyed my hair purple without bleaching it and it came out. try L’Oreal Hicolor at sally’s. you’ll need developer which is like bleach but not as damaging but u mix it with the dye and it’s for dark hair.

I think if you went over the greener parts with more blue it would make the color more consistent. Good that you’re happy with it though. ^^

Yes I always leave the coconut oil in my hair when bleaching it.This will prevent breakage:)!

Dried, but not fully - slightly damp :)

Don’t do coconut oil it blocks the cuticles and it really doesn’t do much for your hair.

You’re welcome. I just have been watching Brad Mondo or however you spell his last name and he said not to and that it would block the cuticles and wouldn’t let the dye in as well.

Hi Milo! As I've said before, I constantly take care of my hair by applying masks and treatments about 3-4 times a week, as well as ALWAYS pre-oil my hair before bleaching. I have very thick hair and it still is in great condition, but it is different for everyone. I also have naturally oily hair which helps. :)
Mariah Morgan Good to know! I want to dye my hair again, it’s been years since I have and I was young so didn’t really know how to take care of my hair like that. I’m kind of scared dyeing my hair will ruin it, it was so damaged for a year or two from me dyeing a lot. Do you think the bleach kind of damages the hair for the whole after you first do it? Like right after?
