That is a brilliant little Police Post! I love the idea of a convenient local police station in say an urban part of a city =) The base colour of white is very fitting, and the grey brick elements help break up its dominancy- I noticed how it's more prominent at the cell area to make the inside more shabby. The police/overcross signage is perfectly indicative of it being a local law enforcement building, plus the trans- red/blue above the entrance is a unique aspect, replicating police sirens 🚨The head lighting on the overhanged roof also provides a good amount of light all around, and it's awesome the parking space can fit both a car and a motorbike 🅿👍 The actual base, squat commercial building structure is very impressive with the ladder at the back and air conditioning compressor at the top, as well as the satellite tower. The overhanged roof looks "arresting" having the slopped sections and texture inbetween. The tiled floor help give the flooring inside and out a smooth finish, though the holding cell and back area not having did very nicely provide them with a rough look. There's also plenty of windows, giving you a great look inside. I'd say you could reuse the design of the post to create a bank perhaps 🏦 The inside is very quaint and it's appropriately equipped with all security measures from the access counter to the holding cell, plus the walkie-talkie rack for the officers. Again, you could keep the wall clock should you choose a different function for the post. Really tremendous work on making your Polic Post SBC! Sorry I said too much, but in all I think it's a brilliant concept you've come up with and I liked that you made changes/additions to gain better results. It'll go especially well in a small section of your city 🚔🏢 👍😀

Hi JC, I'm never quite sure how much of these MOCs are pre-planned as you always have the right bricks and little pre-built additions to hand, but it's still nice to see the idea develop and you show really well how it's always possible to look at a model again and improve it. I think this goes for the standard LEGO builds as well, and that's part of the joy of it, you can always think 'what could I do to change this build up a bit'.
Thanks Max! I decided to install a pick-a-brick wall at my home just to make things easier. I pre-plan before I film but not extensively. I have a general idea and get the bricks I think I will need then build. It is quite an organic process.

That car is lovely! great details inside, too! that filing cabinet is brilliant! walkie talkie wall is perfect! and the clock! wow, so simple but so detailed that it really makes the whole thing come together, especially with the flooring! the Parking sign was a good idea! and trash can because Policemen do NOT litter! This build came out Awesome JC, I love how you changed it from just a plain Jane white building, to a supper trooper out post... lol There is just one thing that is nagging me. On the front left hand side ( near the parking area) You have a single snot brick holding the cheese slope piece , you should use a snot brick with 2 studs, so you can use 2 cheese wedges, 1 slope on each corner, Just my 2 cents....

Where do you tend to get most of your pieces from? Do you just buy sets or browse bricklink? I’d love to make buildings like this but I find my “extra” pieces severely lacking for such a project

Try placing the two overhang lights above the shield + police sign to light those up so they can be clearly seen even at night.
Definitely can be done and it makes sense. But I just wanted the balance of the 3 lights.
