his dancing alternates between sharp and soft when it needs to be. his hand gestures are very precise. he also adds his own flair into the moves like 0:41 and 2:45. but most of all his facial expressions are on point and always looks like he's having fun, even by the end of the song (good stamina)

On stage or off, he is someone that is admired by many but is also someone who is very fun and easy to be with. Tbvh, I don't think that a perfect center is the one that dance perfectly and sing perfectly. It's just that many people said that other trainee are the better center. Han geng ex super junior also majoring in traditional chinese dance but he can mastering modern after becoming trainee in sm. It proves eventhough someone who can give up traditional dance with hardwork he can also mastering other dance types.. I believe liu yi can do it as he is so hardworking learning new types of dances
I think people tend to get so caught up in his skill in classical dance that they don't realize how versatile of a dancer he actually is. He does a lot of modern-style dances on his own social media so it's actually not new for him.

In order to be the center, you have to have it all: vocal, visual, dance. Liu Yu's talent is balancing among the three elements. Some trainees are really good at dancing but they forget the vocal part. Some trainees have good vocal but their dance are not on point. Liu Yu received 30% votes from trainees who witnessed right at the place. He totally deserves the position!

It proves eventhough someone who can give up traditional dance with hardwork he can also mastering other dance types.. I believe liu yi can do it as he is so hardworking learning new types of dances

I think people tend to get so caught up in his skill in classical dance that they don't realize how versatile of a dancer he actually is. He does a lot of modern-style dances on his own social media so it's actually not new for him.

In order to be the center, you have to have it all: vocal, visual, dance. Liu Yu's talent is balancing among the three elements. Some trainees are really good at dancing but they forget the vocal part. Some trainees have good vocal but their dance are not on point. Liu Yu received 30% votes from trainees who witnessed right at the place. He totally deserves the position!
