Do you have any advice on what would be a good netdeck for someone who hasn't played since 2016? I'm trying to grind ladder again and I'm not sure what to spend my limited dust on to springboard myself back into the game... any help would be greatly appreciated!

@CraftedEmpires dragon druid is really strong. You can do the highlander one which is really expensive or the one that runs two of things which is also a really good deck.

Saw like 2 Sif decks in wild since it came out. It's not good. Rather slow OTK.
If it can't OTK reliably on turn 3-4 it doesn't really deserves a nerf. (aka Switcheroo or the og Kael'thas)
Even though it is an OTK deck, there are so many ways to disrupt Sif decks since the payoff is usually in the very late game.
oh no, but the problem its a snake from this expansion that you need to excavate, them bounce it 3 times. Jokes aside, snake is problematic indeed, but sif is just too boring and its not even from this expansion!!!

I've gotten the weapon up to 8 frogs twice and both times my opponent conceded before the ninth. The first time I was even about to click the ninth swing and they conceded; I was fuming.
Rarran’s content fully got me back into hearthstone and I know he might read this and feel sorry for me but I really enjoy this janky ass rng game!
You know the craziest part about all of this is that the man was so lost in the sauce he forgot he couldn't even disenchant it because it's a signature card, he is gonna remember that tilter any time he plays it
You can disenchant signature cards though, they changed that a while ago.

Probably wouldnt be so bad at night, I think the main issue is at night (alone) because everyone is usually in bed asleep aside from people who are night owls, third shifters, or people who dont want nefarious things they're doing to be seen. Things would be drastically if everyone was awake. But if it was always night eventually you run into that problem of night and alone, but if it was always daytime at the very least if you were alone everyone and their mother could see you plain as day.

Rarran is a textbook example of why you shouldn't read the comments, he spends so much time worrying about petty (meaningless) things that at the end of the day don't help him or anyone else. Behind behind a computer screen makes people lack sincerity with their words so there's little value in the words of random strangers unless they're being constructive or at the very least know what they're talking about.

I don't know what you mean. Rarran has a pretty chill community. Sure, some people are gonna type KEKW missed lethal. And others that backseat, it's just frustrating when someone does something wrong and you can't communicate with them directly. Unfortunate reality of streaming and youtube. So the comments can get a bit rough. And well yeah there may be a few toxic guys but when 95% of people are normal and nice, are you really going to let a tiny minority disconnect you from your community?
I think many of the things he worries about are things he should think about, if only for a few seconds. You can never assume you're doing it all perfectly, and to have a successful youtube/streaming career you need to be on top of your game when it comes to quality content. You can learn alot by listening and trying to actively improve whatever you're doing.

I love Reno Shaman but its really rough against Rainbow mage. (Which is popular at the moment) It has decent board presence, good boardclear and perfect finish. Which means it's quite hard to apply board pressure and since Shaman lacks ways to gain armor you get otk'd by Sif
Idk your rank but actually rainbow mage is one of the best matchups, I have like 70+% winrate in top 500. Normally you kill him easily playing at tempo. It's key to have the snake in the mulligan to break the keyboard and the 4 mana taunt frog to win the early board and push damage. Plague dk and enrage warrior are instant lose (With the warrior nerf the matchup will improve, many times he kill you with otk combo)

Unless ofcourse both skeletons hit the elemental, maybe play tides first to increase the odds
Sif is the one of the most annoying decks to play against. It's so consistent and have the tools needed to consistently kill you from hand and your only counterplay is to play board vomit aggro (but mage has plenty of removal) or play shitty tech cards and hope you disrupt their combo.
Love your stuff man! I only play arena these days, and once a week at max. Your videos are more fun than actually playing the game though 😂 could you maybe try to put your hand less on your mouth while talking, that makes the sound a bit annoying. Otherwise just keep being yourself, you’re amazing!
Hey, don’t want to be rude and This might be personal taste but I find a lot of the zooming and panning to be a little excessive, and the slow zoom in particular on the board gives it a sort of swimmy effect that almost gives me motion sickness on my tv heh. The snap back I also find a little distracting.
And sometimes it like zooms in a tiny bit instantly then zooms right back out like a second later, just feels a little jarring to me personally.
But I’m just a watcher and not an editor! love your videos nonetheless, keep up the good work!

i dont know rarran, nerfing a broken card by 2 health can do something, look at costumed singer for example, if you nerfed that by 2 health, it'd just die when you summon it, and imo is the change blizzard should have went for

Just wanted to say something as a new viewer and overall fan, I find the editing style really jarring. Lots of quick cuts to closeups, or moves past actions that happen in game, or randomly zooming in on the board. Absolutely loved the video and commentary but was annoyed by the edits the whole time

Rarran missing lethal in that first game is so sad, the turn he sends the 5-1 face he could have played both the 3 attack and 3/3 rush cards, then, jam session the 5-1 to make it an 8-4, then hero power face

as a fellow man whos entering his later 20's and so is my hair, I would highly recommend to use rosemarin and mint oil and buy some hair massage brush, your hair is starting to look thin, no hate, love the videos
Highlander shaman is overrated AF. I played nearly 110 games, and I have less than 50% WR cuz of unwinnable mage and DK matchups (in case of my opponent playing plague DK it's always instant concede by me)
