I am running iOS 17.1.2 and do not have a camera button when I click in my notes. I only have a keypad.I did notice that if I hold my finger in the note area, an insert photo option shows up.

What if you don’t have the camera icon?
I guess then you are living under rock😂
1. open Files app2. click top right corner 3 dots, select scan document3. save
