The ICC has made these rules favoring batters to ensure more boundaries are hit, and thus more sponsors are attracted to advertise. Every boundary has some sponsor attached to it now. This is purely a cashgrab from the ICC. However theyre diluting the product by doing so.

As far as David Lloyd comment is concerned, he just trying to stay relevant. Like Pakistan, Eng white ball cricket team has had a very bad 12 months, so he needs to say something to stay in the news. The only way to shut him up is, if Pak go and dominate the series.

What is your issue . You are never happy with the Pak team . You were bashing the team when we lost the first t20 against the Ireland. In that situation if we would have tried other players who didn’t get a chance , you would have eaten the team alive . Now that we won last two games , you are again showing significant descent. Win or loose , your job is to criticize the team . Let’s hope and pray that we do good in WC
