There’s a lot of great Jeep groups one Facebook that do trips around, as well as many good overland groups. Even if you don’t join them on group trips, they can provide you with many good places to get started!

Larry and I camped on the other side in the trees. It was pretty trashed up along the banks.
We never made it over that side really. Was getting late when we arrived so we just set up quickly. I need to explore that place more.
I live in Elk city. I’d like to travel those roads you took after you left Hext. Have ya got it mapped out on some app maybe that you could share?
