Once unboxed, these tiny models become a challenge of their own. I had to disassble a disposable rasor to use it's tiniest of blades to cut off the different parts from the wooden frame of nikitin's 1:48 boat (9cm) some parts snapped in the process so I had to repair them with CA which ultimately succeeded but taught me that once the ship is unboxed, modellers have to start thinking out of the box.. You are a great help and inspiration for doing that Olha. Thank you
Watching your technique for curving the lapstrake planks is ABSOLUTLY amazing! Then you out did yourself with your flemish fake of the line. You definitely have a deep bag of tricks to call upon. As always, BRAVO ZULU

Тут вопрос не в масштабе, а в фактической длине. Напишите о каком размере идет речь, вполне возможно что в недалеком будущем и найдется время на реализацию меньшего размера шлюпки.😀

Hello Olha, were you a seamstress at one time? Your fine rigging work suggest hand sowing skills. Just an observation, not just of your model ships, but on many others as well. The cannon rigging ropes running from the cannon breaches seem stiff, stand up, and do not sag as they would in real life. Couldn't they be dampened with a little diluted white glue and have a realistic sag imparted in them?

Hello Gerard This is a regular soldering iron, even without a temperature regulator. I simply experimented with how much to heat it (+/- 30 seconds) so that it was safe to bend wood and curing PVA...
Что то не понял , вы петли на руле из бумаги сделали? А принцип установки шлюпки на палубе вашим методом сделаю , я сейчас когг строю от звезды ,правда пластиковый , но некоторые элементы шпоном красного дерева отделал, шлюпку в дополнение деревянную заказал , моя первая деревянная модель будет. 😀
Olha, I did not see you use the tiny dented parts 01 L 01 R , 42 L and 42 R which are supposed to be supporting the front and back of the planking. Did you not use them or did I overlook anything? They are a bit tricky to me to install.
It's such a small boat that I prefer to be in control of where to stick the plank... Just try to put the board on and it fits perfectly without those deials!

Thank you! Unfortunately, no one knows exactly which boats were on the Ragysian Carracks. Drawings also do not exist to be made from scratch, as for Le_Cerf. Perhaps that is why MarisStella decided not to make a boat at all. This is a kit of the Ukrainian manufacturer "Ships of Pavel Nikitin" with their interpretation of boats of the 15th-16th centuries... PS - it is described in the subtitles!
