I have always seen Donna Vekic as very enigmatic. This video has really opened my eyes as to the lovely young woman she is. I saw her play against Iga the Cyborg in the San Diego final at Barnes Tennis Center. Donna held herself with class and grace in defeat.
Slavonia, the region of Croatia she comes from is known for it's easy going mentality. One positive stereotype of people from Slavonia is that they are laid-back and welcoming.
Awesome video of Donna! I'm hoping she can break into the top 10 soon, but also hoping she's not putting too much pressure on herself to do so. As long as she can stay level headed and handle wins and defeats almost the same, she'll be fine. The Australian Open will be the toughest test for her because she will be in an unfamiliar position of being favored that first week. If she can handle that pressure for a good chunk of the season, then watch out for the Donna train!! ChooChoo!

She was a real hard worker, got all the men on tour one by one and worked them hard and made them love it. Now her face got wider and she got heavier. Not so pretty anymore.
