You almost had me… i thought you were doing a cheeky trespass 😉 I have actually walked Manton to Corby on Walk outs on many occasions. Corby Tunnel is a beast… dry and wet, spent many a cold shift in that bad boy. If you want to film an horror movie, go in Corby Tunnel … the iron deposits and the calcification is like an alien cavern …. Ah! The steel train… lost count how many line blocks did I take installing that REB at Corby North …? Happy times on K2C… nice video.
Great video, how it’s changed, If that aerial shot was taken 30-40 years ago, you’d have seen the landscape full of mines, remember a Clayton tour of the Gretton quarry branch line. The amount of traction we used to watch on the summer holidays, 20’s, 25,37, 45,46,47 so much, bringing coal & ore to the works. Best not say about walking the tunnel to get home quicker😂

If I did I wouldn't film it lol . Yh your right Aj. Full of Ironstone quarries, hardly any trees and lots of smoke from smelting.
