Absolutely one of the most fun things you can ride on the water if you ever get the chance. It's not easy very unique. Kinda like a stand up but not super cool.
There is a part of me that looks at this and says “what an earth are these silly machines” Then another part of me says “I wonder how much I can pick one up for on Facebook marketplace”
i just looked up "Wetbike" AND "Wet Bike" on ebay and all i got was a James Bond replica thats not even a real wetbike and a bunch of parts. and i cant find any wetbikes in my surrounding areas on craigslist. I tried many different areas that are driveable. And im from CA. i dont plan on driving half way across the US for one
check out the classified section on wetbike dot net There is a whole section devoted to ebay and CL bikes. I'm in cali too, and am building a bike to sell.
No so my friend. Jumping is what this one was actually built for. The aluminum hull is much more durable compared to the plastic body Wetbike. And no, it doesn't go under water when you land.
Ever take it off any sweet jumps?
Me and my buddy are trying to get 4 of these, theve been sitting under a tarp for 10 years. Should be pretty cool!
Brian, I have 3 of them for sale right now! let me know if you have interest. gregoryallene@gmail.com
These are fun, rode one in the 80's jumped a wake went over the handle bars and almost lost my nut sack.
😅

I found one for 500 but it needs work I worried I won’t be able to find parts to restore it
It's awesome and all, but all those sharp corners... just asking for a huge gash from simply wiping out at speed.
+urdnal well, we can't all sit on the couch with helmets all our lives....

A huge gash from WHAT??? You are on water.
The sharp corners and edges of the aluminum body.
I want one so bad but I can't find any in Massachusetts
pure awesome

Old school cool!

Then your not trying very hard. There's a bike on ebay right now, and they are randomly scattered across the US on CL all the time.

What is it like in rough water?
