I love the size of your daypack, it is just perfect. We hike with our 4yr and she had been begging for a hiking backpack😁 The water bottle slots and all the compartments hold your essentials nicely🥰 Thanks for sharing😊

Yes is pretty nice and not bulky. But since it’s frameless kinda need to pack it just right to fit okay. So nice that you can hike with your 4 year old. 🥰

Like the colors of the pack. Looks like a perfect size for a day pack. I've got a Sawyer and the bfree. The bfree is a great filter, fast and convenient. One drawback is that it takes a while to get the filter membranes fully saturated and the flow is slow at first if it's been unused for a while.

Nice setup. Mine is similar. I use the "10 essentials" principle as well. I'm prepared for an emergency overnight bivouac if needed. The only extras that I carry that I didn't see in your setup are: cordage (survival bracelet) , maps (just in case your devices fail), a "real" magnetic compass, an emergency whistle, emergency fire tinder, a signal mirror, water purification tablets (just in case your filter malfunctions) and a multi-tool. I also like having my hydration bladder. Even if you don't use it, it's nice to know it's there if you need it. Happy Trails 😊

@@MarisolsAdventures they should have all of those items cheap at Walmart in the outdoor/camping section.

@@MarisolsAdventures I forgot one other thing that I have, an emergency rain poncho. It can be very useful. You can rig it as a makeshift shelter with the cordage if necessary or use it as an extra piece of layering.

I never wore hats, and now I get frustrated if I start out on a hike and leave it behind! I need to do better at having these things with me on hikes. Great overview!
