Looks similar to another "design from London, built in China" pen, the Scriveiner. My nephew who knew nothing about fountain pens bought one of those for my birthday a few years ago, and I have been very happy with it. Difference I see is the Scriveiner has a Schmidt nib unit. They're very comparable in price as well. Thanks for sharing this!

I also have the similar Scrivenier. Not bad for what it is! Personally the marketing isn't to my taste. There's a ton of high quality Chinese pens in the $20-40 price range now that I think the Ellington is a tough sell for me.
I bought one (a steaIth) on sale, was $20.00 . It would not write right out of the box. I contacted the person on the card that came with Pen. He was very gracious and offered to send me a new pen. The replacement worked perfectly. I gave it away to a new user to fountain Pens I worked with.
Thank you. This is a good and honest appraisal of these pens. I'm looking for a new fountain pen as the one I have is getting old. These seem to be a reasonable and fair price for what you are getting. I will give these some thought.
Currently (April 2023) these pens are being heavily discounted by Amazon (UK). Priced at £18.95 with an additional £4.00 off voucher. This really does make them a bit of a bargain. I thought the chrome and gold version wrote slightly better than the stealth model. I noticed a bit of a hard start (leading edge of your letter "s" and one of the vertical lines) with the coated black nib. Nothing major but just enough to make me prefer the chrome and gold pen. As you say, a decent, honest and robust pen.

Have not read the thread. But lately the quality of Chinese pens seems to be improving, the fact that the pen writes out of the box and behaves is a bonus. Thanks for the review always appreciated.
Nice to see you’re taking some time to do some light reading. I heard that there’s a major plot twist about half-way through when the protagonist wakes from her coma and discovers she’s really an alien but can’t remember anything about the night she spent with the villain until she picks up a fountain pen and her memories come rushing back.
The beginning was terribly reminiscent of the professor!! Ha! Great honest review Stephen….. jude
They make getting a refund or canceling an order impossible. 7 emails and they wouldn't cancel the order that wasn't even shipped out yet and placed hours before.
The stealth nib squeaked! But it is still appears to be a decent writer. Is it worth the price? Perhaps. I don't know.
Can it be said that is balanced like a jin hao 250?
