I like it, but I could see if someone doesn't find it as enjoyable as the Omegle stuff.. He was great then, but I can really tell how much he's progressed in his playing ability from those early Call of Duty vids.
That first clip was actually when Sturridge scored the winner for England vs Wales in the Euros 2016. Didn’t know that bar was in Manchester. We won’t dwell on what happened further down that particular tournament, but that clip was for that goal vs Wales
Also, TheDooo's Call Of Duty ones are some of his funniest! You're really missing out by not giving those a shot. Don't be mistaken by the "Call Of Duty" It's not about the game at all really, you don't need to have any idea what's happening in the game how it works or what's even being played, It's all about the comedic interaction with him and the fellow gamers + epic shredding!
I found him from his COD games, you should definitely check those out. The reactions and his musical brilliance are terrific regardless if you know anything about the game or not. It was mostly back in the days of BO2 which was around 2015 or 2016. Episode 15, "Doo Meets Xbox" is by far my favorite so that would be a great one to start on.

Yeah he does them himself, by playing a bit of the backing track and putting it on repeat, a lot of guitarist and other mucisians have this thing in the floor like pedals that will start recording and do other set actions.
You HAVE to do his old videos playing in cod lobbies. It’s the origins of his channel and some of the absolute funniest reactions there. And most of them are before he even talked so he would like talk with his guitar and since there wasn’t video to see him playing people naturally had a harder time believing it was real so they would just constantly bust out requests back to back to see if he was actually playing since there’s no way he’d be able to play each request immediately if he was like searching them up on TH-cam and playing them through his mic or what not so you just get a taste of just how vast his musical encyclopedia is and how quickly he’s able to just start jamming out a song someone requests and play absolutely perfect
Where you said "of all songs to pick why that one". I'll tell you why, we all already know TheDooo can shred, shredding is okay but it's a lot more impressive to test his ability to improvise over a song he's literally never heard. it's a lot easier to shred a bunch of random notes, than play well on guitar and make it sound like the guitars actually a voice singing. His Call of Duty videos aren't gaming videos. They are pretty much exactly like the Omegle videos except he gets reactions from people in Call of Duty lobbies.
I'll bet this guy is a studio artist, and he's probably under contract, which is why he doesn't show his face. There's a band called 'Here Come The Mummies' that are a large group of studio artists in Nashville who play concerts. Some of them are under contract and aren't allowed to entertain outside of that contract. The way they get around it is that they all dress in mummy outfits, hiding their faces, and the only one who speaks is the lead guy who I don't think is under any contracts like that. The studios know that they are studio artists, but don't know who they are and so they can't get any of them for breach of contract. It's been confirmed in an interview with one of the guys not under contract that a couple of the guys playing in the band are pretty big artists that most people would know.
