I do laser crafts and I have the F1 too, I want to start taking it to the fairs but I’m scared that I’ll have problems with it. I’m so happy that you took yours and did onsite personalization. The ornaments are great and you should also try to the pet tags, people love to get those done on site. I don’t think the booth fee was crazy expensive since it was 4 days. We have a big fair here on the boardwalk which is $500 for a 2 day weekend. If the fair is big enough it’s worth it. I think you did great, the only thing I would do is have more variety. I don’t do any tumblers or anything around here because it seems like everyone is doing them. Keep it up and good luck on the next ones!

Congrats. One thing I do for craft show is make something that nobody else makes. I sell laser-cut ornaments. Not the flat layered ones but round 3d wood ornaments

I loved your vlog... Thank you for sharing. I'm not sure how long you've been in business, but I echo the previous lady's sentiment. Believe in yourself.... You Got This! The only thing I think you could improve on (it is not a criticism, just an observation). That is your set-up needs a little more thought and strategy to draw interest towards your booth/stall. There was a nugget of insight and wisdom there for you to take away from this experience. When you changed the booth around your traffic picked up. Large, bold branding Signage, displayed above/behind you (well lite) as well as on the table front, so you can be seen from a distance and also to the sides so you are seen or partially seen from all angles on approach. Display tabletop merch items attractively on fixed and rotating Stands and Step style displays to add texture and interest to your table-top. Keep all your merch cohesive and uncluttered. Really highlight the laser personalisation service you offer (a big advantage). Add attractive Thank You cards, Information cards about your yourself, your business, social media, website. Sell and offer stickers, keychains or hair accessories with purchase. Look at displaying samples of your T'Shirts, Hoodies or Totes on a small rail where possible so customers can see and touch them. Keep photograph records of your practice set-ups and find one that works and keep it consistent and part of your brand colours/style and signature look at all your future markets, It makes setting up a lot quicker and easier too. You can get inspiration from Pinterest and other youtubers who sell at markets: Monica Razak, Blushed Design, Rozu Moon Handmade Boutique, Our Cheery Corner. You're doing a great job... Keep going!❤

I used to be a vendor at different Pop-Ups, and I would also vend in the lobby of different companies. I don't know if you do this but, each time someone makes a purchase ask them to write down their email address so. that you can build an email list of all of your customers. When you are going to attend a craft, show send them an email. Good Luck

I didn't do this in the past and when I tried it was very difficult for me but now I have the vending machine and that is how I get people to sign up for email and it has been working amazing! My plan is to work on getting better at e-mail marketing and sharing were I will be at for upcoming markets and events. 💖
Unless it's guaranteed the right number of ppl are attending n even food doht cost tat much for a booth i woukd never pay that. A million ppl would have to be there n it shoukd be a guaranteed percentage back if u don't eat 3x that. With food its max 350 plus a percentage. This is a scary crazy amount. I'm watching tho I hope u made 5x n I hope it was a weekend too or 4 weekends
I was just reading your comments and I love the progression through the video. 😄 lol It was definitely a scary one to decide to go for. It was a decision that took a lot of time to make and there was a lot of back and forth conversations with multiple people. I wish there was a way to know for sure or guarantee results from an event but unfortunately the gamble is part of the market game.
It is the size I usually get at markets so I am used to working in 10x10 space but it is always a challenge to make everything fit, have a good flow and have enough space to move around (myself and shoppers). Having the drapes on the sides was definitely new for me but I feel like we made it work well. 😊
Oh for sure! I do stay home and take care of my kiddos and run my small business. I am very fortunate to have an amazing family support system to help me when I have markets and especially big ones like this. 😊

We do the Christmas market for the junior league of El Paso and it was great last year! The price went up this year so i didn’t apply this year
