I went to a Lionel Richie concert at the Hollywood bowl. Show ended around 10:30pm (22:30), wasn't out until 11pm(23:00). I was soooo hungry. I was too tired to go to a restaurant EVEN if they were opened that late which I highly doubt. On the way back to our ride my girlfriend and I just smelled the delicious vegetables and hot dogs from a block away. I had one and she had one. A block later I bought another from a different vender! Honestly it was so delicious! Bacon wrapped and grilled veggies! It was easy to eat on the go! I wanna see when concerts will be at the holly wood bowl just so I can go have some hotdogs ! I won't even go to the show I'll just wait until the hotdog venders are out !

If you go to the tourist places theyll be more. Like in Santa Monica, outside staples center, dodger stadium. Etc. Each stand has it's over style. The stations they work on are clean (why would they risk losing the ability to make the little money they make?), and it only looks "dirty" at times because of the grease from the grilling of sausages and bacon - but in actuality it isn't dirty at all. *This is about as dirty as cooking at an outdoor BBQ.* I've had these a couple times - they're so damn good. Tip them - they need those tips more than you think they do!

The perfect clip to make someone, like me, want to go out and buy and eat one. I would want the 'soaked' bun experience and all 3 different types of 'squirt.' Not sure I could handle having so many options for a hot dog, though. You know? Last time, I got a hot dog in my area, was like 30 years ago. Never had a bad hot dog in my life. I bought 2 and it tasted like it was a hot dog in liquid that 'leeches' out all that good hot dog 'reality.' You gotta have the 'reality' thing OR it tastes like a tofu dog. I went to a car show in downtown LA once, and afterwards we got a hot dog from a street vendor. His setup was exactly like this man's, and it was one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. That's saying a lot because I've had sausage, peppers, and onion on a roll in Italy at an F1 grand prix (and it was incredible!).
I love these vendors. You get the best tasting food. Give them a try. The next time you want something to eat, you just might find yourself looking for a street vendor, plus your helping them out too. But most of the time, the food is great.
