A total turn-off to a lot of good singers bc they need to scream their hearts out to win these competitions. They go abroad and manage to win these competitions because the judges( who are not Filipinos) are not preferential to screaming/shouting during competitions. We have good OPM composers: Louie Ocampo, Ogie Alcasid, Vhenee Saturno. There are young composer artists too: Zack Tabudlo, Moira, OPM Bands. PPop producers are also great. They can give Kpop groups a good run for their money. How about Bruno Mars, Her, APL d Ap? So yeah, what were you talking about?
If Filipinos enter the contest the audience gets attention. So why because they sang from the heart. So that's why a million crowds attract especially on tv. I think why nobody, Filipinos are not winning the contest. They don't want to conquered the music industry.
