We need remasters of The Last Story and Pandora's Tower. Not enough people got to play these gems due to sheer incompetence of NOA at the time. God I almost forgot how much NOA sucks sometimes as if it wasn't for based NOE these games along Xeno would've been completely lost to western audiences :-)
I'm sure you mentioned them but a few off the top of my head would be Scarlet Nexus, Tales of Arise, Kingdom Hearts NOT CLOUD versions, Visions of Mana, and Soul Hackers 2.
I think Sony published the NIOH games like Bloodborne so a Switch port is highly unlikely. Also I’ve never heard anyone referred the Armored Core or Souls series as a JRPG.
@@jtscorecrystal No Wo Long is on Xbox because that was published by Koei Tecmo and Marketed by Xbox. Nioh however is still only on PC and PlayStation.
@@jtscorecrystal 🤣😂 Yeah these Medieval Europe and East Asian Fantasy Souls games are becoming a dime a dozen now. Which is why I skip most these days.
@@JonBlack413 I can’t remember the last one i played. I’m just waiting on the return of Ninja Gaiden lol. Like when the king is back I’ll return to the throne room.
I think Atlus titles are a question of when not if they'll be released on Switch 2 at this point. Atlus is getting good pay off for porting the three games to the Switch and the only reason their new ones are'nt coming is because the Switch can't handle it. I think the second the switch 2 is announced you'll get them confirming ports for Persona 3 Reload, Persona 6, and Metaphor. I also think this will be the case for Square Enix now too.
I'm just hoping for a new IP form Monolith and that the complete version of Metaphor Refantanzio come to Switch 2 Oh And Dragon Quest 12 Elden Ring and Baldurs Gate 3 on Switch 2 would be awesome for others (even if BG3 isn't jrpg)
I mean if the successor will be running an engine that is similar to the ps4 or better, I believe it shouldn't be issue for these games to be ported over. I'm definitely hoping as I rather play them handheld rather than on console.
FF16 was really, really good. Many flaws, but it was really good. I'd definitely buy it again on the next switch I'd also love to have a FF13 collection. Not the best in the series by any stretch, but an all in one collection, with all on cart(s) and no download would be awesome
Though I don’t doubt MH will make an appearance on the next Switch console, I would not be so sure about Wilds being that game. CAPCOM would only port that game if it literally required zero effort on their part. I would seriously be surprised if they spent resources on any level of a demanding port.
For me the games that I would love to see and makes the most sense on the successor are: 1. Kingdom Hearts series NATIVELY 2. Final Fantasy 7 Remake/Intergrade & Rebirth 3. Scarlet Nexus 4. Tales of Arise and the older Tales Of series 5. The upcoming Synduality 6. Persona 3 Reload 7. Metaphor 8. Soul Hackers 2 9. The Like A Dragon series 10. Sand Land 11. Street Fighter 6 12. Tekken 8 13. Visions of Mana 14. Granblue Fantasy Relink 15. Granblue Fantasy Versus 16. Sakura Wars 2020 and the others before that 17. Armored Core 6 18. Hi-Fi Rush 19. Final Fantasy 13 trilogy (really I’m fine with just the first two) 20. Monster Hunter World/ Icebourne 21. Monster Hunter Wilds 22. Resident Evil 2, 3, & 4 Remakes 23. That upcoming Fatal Fury 24. Xenoblade Chronicles X remade in the same way as Xenoblade Chronicles 1 25. Nintendo & CyGames working together again to make a new Dragalia Lost game for the Switch successor Yes I know not everything on this list are JRPGs, but I do feel like these are the games that makes sense and will sell just as well if not better than when those games originally released.
Bandai Namco fumbled by not putting Scarlet Nexus on the Switch. But could maybe fix that by putting it on the successor system.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is the jrpg i want the most.
Definitive Edition, please 🙏
Visions of Mana, Persona 3 reload, and other RPGs coming to the next Switch is what I'm looking forward to the most right now.

I finished Like A Dragon on the SteamDeck, what a game! The series is perfect for the Switch 2.
Mass Effect Trilogy could do quite well on the Switch 2, if EA can get over themselves.
going to rebuy my whole my library on switch 2. YOU HEAR THAT SONY
I’m still pissed at Sony and blame them partially for Senran Kagura’s demise
I think Sony published the NIOH games like Bloodborne so a Switch port is highly unlikely. Also I’ve never heard anyone referred the Armored Core or Souls series as a JRPG.
I think they came to Xbox as of now so the deal might be up
@@jtscorecrystal No Wo Long is on Xbox because that was published by Koei Tecmo and Marketed by Xbox. Nioh however is still only on PC and PlayStation.
@@JonBlack413 You are 100% correct on that. All those games start to blend together after awhile lol.

you know ff14 on switch successor does sound cool asf not gonna lie
Fantastic list of games 😊
Elden Ring and Monster Hunter Wilds are all I need

13:43 missed switch impact is pretty much accurate lol also any yakuza would be awesome to play on the next switch system
Soul Hackers 2 also needs to be ported to the Switch 2
That would be cool but that game is mid as hell, coming from a huge smt fan

Hey, Star Ocean 4 was awesome! How can you not like Meracle and Myuria?
Thank you! Great list!
Given Squares new “no exclusives” approach we’ll probably get FF port announcements for Xbox and later for Nintendos next thing once it releases
Metaphor looks so interesting. Will play for sure and might even preorder
With that thumbnail alone, get ready for some juicy fanfictions.
I love dragons dogma so glad I got the first title physically on switch 300hrs plus & would love the second one on switch2 as a definite edition🤞
Genshin isn't a jrpg????
FF 7R, 13, 14, & 16 but not 15? I stopped playing it with 12 because they changed too much, but does 15 get left out?
GREAT VIDEO
*looks at Star Ocean Divine Force, and see there are no Fellpooler or Featherfolk* Why should I be interested in this?
Great video OJ
I think Genshin was blocked by Sony
😮😮👍
FF15
hi OJ
Fromsoftware games are not jrpg.
There RPGs created by Japanese devs that's a jrpg 😅
