நான் பத்தாங்கிளாஸ் படிக்கும்போது ரெண்டு பாடல்கள் எனக்கு ரொம்ப ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும். ஒன்று உறவுகள் தொடர்கதை என்ற இந்த பாடல். மற்றொன்று கண்மணியே காதல் என்பது கற்பனையோ என்ற பாடல். ஆனால் நான் பெரியவன் ஆன பின்பு பிற்காலத்தில் மொபைல் வாங்கிய பின தான் யூடியூப்ல இந்த ரெண்டு படங்களையும் பார்த்தேன். முதல் பாடல்ல காதலன் அவளுடைய காதலியை ஏமாத்துவான். இரண்டாவது பாடலில் காதலி அவன் காதலனை ஏமாற்றுவார். இதைப் பார்த்த பின்ன இந்த ரெண்டு பாடல்கள் மேலயும் எனக்கு ஒரு வெறுப்பு வந்துருச்சு. இந்தப் பாடல்கள் எங்கேயாவது வெளியிடங்கள்ள நான் கேட்டேன் என்றால் அந்த இடத்தை விட்டு உடனடியாக அகன்று விடுவேன்.

Also in Marupadiyum Arvind doesn't say he'll b by revathy side in the song but in the movie he proposes his love to her! Taking advantage of her at that time is cruel. So Arvind proposing later when she is in control of her emotions is very different from doing so when she needs consoling. In உறவுகள் song ஶ்ரீபிரியா comes to Sivachnadran crying about her parents and that's when he sings this - when she is emotionally vulnerable. If you cannot understand this difference then some serious education on these matters is required for our men.

This is absolutely fair, it's an interpretation which is in line with the Story line
She seems to be head oriented rather than heart oriented. She takes the lyrics to the head and not to the heart. Even the lyricist might have not thought this will be misinterpreted later by some who are concerned about logics in lyrics. She may also say that, that fellow fools her by saying her face is like the moon because that is a wrong statement by the male to manipulate the girl.

Hi. I watch your channel often and enjoy your interpretations of all that is good in TFM. Now this particular episode you talk about the heroine being a victim well this has many sides to the reality of life. The heroine being portrayed as an independent ‘thinking’ woman also has normal human lust and physical needs as this is a natural physical need. Tamil movies tend to portray their heroines as virtuous, virginal of very high ‘moral’ character which is a false narrative at best. If one were to look at India being the highest ‘producer’ of babies there lies the rub. I saw the movie when it was released when I was in college it was revolutionary-and right in your face reality check. Sharing some thoughts. No offense meant.
Your claims have value but in the movie the heroine expresses that she was duped. So in the context of the song, she was coerced and taken advantage of at a weak moment. That is all the point I made and this happens more often in real life.
