- 2024 X1 M35i - transmission in Sport mode POV driving - meant to actually put in full Sport Mode from My Modes. End has night drive with windows open.
Next time I’ll put it full Sport Mode and use the Boost option on the Left Paddle as it gives you a 10 second boost.

Thank you! This is literally the only video of the X1 M35i on road with exhaust sound. Any more content with exhaust would be appreciated. I have mine on order in the US, arriving *hopefully* before end of year.
I’ll do it in the actual sport mode next time and try the boost button.
Just so you know - sound is faked like most 2014+ BMW.
I love this car; I just got one for my wife, and she loves it too. Despite having a 911 Turbo S, I find myself enjoying driving the M35 even more. Hard to fully figure out all the futures

I have a 325xi series with an N52 and it’s manual. I love driving that!

I had an x2 m35i, I think it was a 2021, and i thought there was a considerable amount of torque steer, which I found to be really annoying if you were doing a bit of spirited acceleration and turning at the same time. The torque steer and not having blind spot detection drove me nuts. Owning a 911, I'm sure you've noticed if X1 had torque steer.. Could you possibly comment on any torque steer issues, please? Thx - Craig
@@craighermle7727 I do notice that the front wheel drive when flooring. Alot of power to the front wheels and the steering pulls in either direction but I’m not sure which way. I’ve never felt this in my STI, M3 or 325xi. I’m not sure if that’s the torque steer you are talking about. They did add a limited slip to help out with this I believe.

What you hear is bullshit, comes from speakers and guy recording is too dumb to turn it off, so we can actually HEAR what comes from the exhaust.

@@leoBrodhead More videos of the exhaust note, videos/impressions of launch control, how it feels in spirited driving, how does the turbo lag feel, how does it feel when compared to the base X1. Like, man, you were first to the punch and absolutely nothing of value here. You don't even sound happy.

Just traded my X3 for the X1 M35. Love it….
I love my 2024 X1 35i thus far and the only issue I am having right now is when I play my audio content off Apple CarPlay, the sound will skip or pause for a quick second and then continue. It happens every few minutes. It’s very annoying
My only disconnects once in a while. Other than that no sound issues.

This 4pot doesn’t feel sluggish? I’m considering to buy the new X2 m35i, or an X4 m40i
I'm also very interested in the X2 m35i and also skeptical about the 4 exhaust pipes. I would advise you against the current x4, a new model is coming out next year.
Could you do an acceleration vid? There’s little to no coverage on this car. Doesn’t have to be launch control

Now that I’ve had her for several months, I think I would probably change the rims or maybe just the tires to make it more aggressive on the Autobahn. After testing it several times with launch mode, I need more performance tires for the takeoff and it easily goes under five seconds but you need better tires. I have all season on from the factory and they are good enough and the car drives excellent here in Europe.

I've read a lot of comments online regarding two issues.. gears sticking-auto stalls in a set gear and doesn't move unless you manually change.. and the more worrying one is that the breaks are very good but have no feel or gradation.. its either not stopping or stops dead. have you found any of these issues
Don’t have any issues with the car. The only thing I will change is the auto stop feature which I don’t like and I usually shut it off when I put the Drive in sport mode or I manually go to the iDrive system and deactivate the start stop. I haven’t noticed any gear sticking and the brakes work well and you could be correct on the gradual breaking but now that I’ve had it for two months, don’t see any issue with me driving the vehicle steering or breaking or accelerating everything seems to be working as it should. the auto start is a little annoying, but I’ve managed to shut that off every time I drive the car
question for you - I drove the regular x1 and the steering was so loose, nothing compared to the bmw's I've had in the past, how tight is the steering in the M?
I think the steering is good and medium stiff.
Is this near Ramstein?
What about the fuel consumption of the car ? Is it good for every day ?
I average 25 MPG. City mostly. On long trips I gets 31-33 MPG if I take it easy/

I will have to figure out if there is launch control and a spot I guess. I’m on the all season tires so that may make a difference.

how is the 2023 mx1 it’s the same fast and fun. yes or no. the model didn’t change from 2024 and 2023. I may look to get a 2023 if I can get an early lease buyout of my mini countryman

hello I want to buy an x1 m35i and I wanted to know more about the exhaust. I have seen your videos but there is not one where you film with the window open so that we can clearly hear the noise of the exhaust. I wanted to know if it really makes noise and at what level with and without the window open.
I don’t think the exhaust is loud compared to an actual M3 or even a Honda Civic type R. I believe that the exhaust is sufficient and if you wanted to sound loud and you can turn on the iDrive nine I iconic sounds and it sounds really good inside the car but it’s either pumped or fake
Can you force power oversteer with this version of XDrive or can you not really influence the tail with the throttle?

Hi, can os9 do the same trick as os8: have the live traffic and AR showing on dashboard?
It does have the AR/VR overlay when parking. But I think I miss out on the AR showing when I exit the highway and some other features because I have an American spec version and I’m in Europe and I don’t have all the functions working on I drive 9
