We got LOTS of Bruins topics to cover today y'all! What are YOUR thoughts on Boston's poor start to the year? Where do YOU see Frederic ending up? What happens next with Marchand, Monty and more? Let me know!! #GravGang
And this is why many of us earlier subscribers did not stay subscribed. Tried standing behind this kid but... This is the clickbait we're looking to avoid. He was okay for the first couple weeks, and then he went click bait!
Yeah, Frederick isnt getting traded and Montgomery isnt getting fired. None of this is remotely true. The Bruins want to be bigger and tougher. Why would they trade Frederick, who is both of those things. If they are trading players who are underperforming, then they would trade half the team, Macavoy would go first. Plus, if you really think Frederick is that bad, why would ANYONE trade for him. Use your brain. Stop writing things just to get clicks.
Just you predicting that the Bruins would win the division, shows how much you know.....NOTHING! Coyle is an underated center?? No. He was playing his head last srason. ANYONE who knows hockey, would know this. This team was predicted to be a wild card at best. There is a serious lack of talent on this team.
As a bruins fan I’m not pushing the panic button it’s the first month and it’s not impressive but I wouldn’t fire Montgomery and keep him till the end of the season and see how things look. I think their are players that need to step it up because the players that shouldn’t be are looking pretty good. I think Geekie is going to be gone next season undoubtedly. He’s just lacking. I feel their defense is decent but the offense needs to step it up a bit more. I’m sure the team is aware like Nashville was when they lost six or seven in a row.
As a Stars fan, I couldn't stand Montgomery. He tanked Benn's numbers and all they had to show for it was a game 7 lose to the Blues where Dallas spent 5 periods hemmed in their zone.
@@edited1325 that's simply not a reasonable return tho, the only team with the assets to do that who would want to trade for pasta is dallas and they're not gonna be willing to move on from those pieces
They should fire Montgomery, Sacco and Kelly from the coaching staff and get rid of Sweeney as GM. Hire from outside the organization and not just this next man up mentality.
Bruins overachieved last year. Frederic/Coyle/Zacha/Heinen/Geekie all had career seasons. Maybe a trade will shake things up? McAvoy has not been good so far, Swayman less than stellar. Geekie is invislble. Elias Lindholm looks like a number 3 center. With very little to no talent at the AHL level, we have very few options. Our best trade asset is probably Lohrei.
I love your content. Watching from across the pond here in the UK. I'm a Bruins fan myself, and I feel like our problem is the offensively speaking, there's too big a gap in talent/level of production between Pastrnak and everyone else. Taking last season as an example, Pastrnak had 110 points. The next closest was 67. Stanley Cup champion Panthers had a first line in Reinhart, Barkov and Verhaeghe who got 94, 80 and 72 points, so not a huge gap in production. Their second line of Tkachuk, Bennett and Rodrigues, even that was able to carry them even though Bennett and Rodrigues didn't get loads of points. I just think the Bruins top line besides Marchand don't produce enough. They should be hitting at least around 75 points each. Second line I'd like to think at least 50 points. 3rd line maybe 30-40 points and 4th line anything between 10 and 20 ultimately.

We should’ve had Wotherspoon as our 6th D & use those 5 milion on a 2nd line winger…

Marchand isn’t ever signing anywhere else

Damn, mind that title next time, I thought all that HAD happened 😅
The burns have been very competitive for a very long time. The NHL and the cap era has a life cycle and they're hitting it.
Great Video, as usual, Nathan.
the question is , is pasternak available and would they consider some 1st round draft picks !
Gonna need multiple higher end prospects one or two 1sts and two top six players considering pasta is a top 3 winger
@edited1325 yeah he is really good but not a conner or Leon! I'd give 2 # 1 and a 2end round !
