Kate Winslet | Longines Ambassador of Elegance

Over the last six years, Kate Winslet, the talented British actress, has personified the Longines motto: “Elegance is an attitude”. Today, the Swiss watchmaking company was proud to welcome her to Saint-Imier, to the place where the brand was created in 1832. Walter von Känel, President of Longines, accompanied the actress throughout the day, leading her along the corridors where Longines watches are so lovingly crafted, so that she could see for herself the production and assembly processes.

I'm thinking of buying a Longines (chronograph-triple date-moon phase) and I wonder how my watch will be taken care of when it needs servicing. I had a *terrible* experience with a rather high-end make I'll leave unnamed (it was returned to me looking worse than when I sent it to them and that is entirely unacceptable). I want to know actual experts who *care* about my watch will be looking after it.

Longines have been making watches since 1832 and have the oldest registered company logo in the Swiss watchmaking industry.
Longines have more to lose with their association with Winslet, than she has with Longines.
