My wife & I had our honeymoon there when it was still a brand new facility. We were treated like ROYALTY & every restaurant was great but our fav was ZEN!!! Gourmet Marche is my personal fav though hahaha Oh... their theme song is so so catchy.... we still sing it today😊 #theRoyaltonLife

Is having to make a reservation new? Last time I was here we just walked in and out of restaurants and sat to eat without anyone saying we needed a reservation. The steakhouse was the only place we had to wait a moment because there were 2 people waiting at the door ahead of us, but it wasnt a big deal.
Have the best time!! I've only been to Royalton Rivera, but seems that Royalton chic is in Punta Cana and Royalton rivera is in cancun and they are both owned by Royalton so should be similar. =)
My wife has so many questions. How did you get from the air to the hotel and hotel to airport? Is it worth upgrading to diamond? Do you have direct access to the ocean? Do they upgrade you when you get there? What are the resort fees and or hidden fees at checkout.
we booked a car through Expedia and it was waiting for us at the airport. we didn't upgrade to diamond club, from what i know it includes the butler service and u can make dinner reservations ahead of time but we didn't think it was worth it with 2 young kids so we didn't do it. Yes direct access to the ocean which was awesome! We booked through Expedia and all resort fees were included. We didn't find any hidden fees when we went. only additional things we paid for were the souvenir from the market, and if you want higher end wine those are additional fees. hope that helps.
most alcoholic drinks are included, some fancier ones are not included. you can talk to the guest services in regards to switching to adults only area. im pretty sure you can still access the hideaway section as long as no minors are in your party, you can confirm that with them.
when you arrive you can go to guest services and make reservations for your entire stay. whereas others have to make reservations each day on the day of
Make sure you check all the details especially the sargasso beach seaweed it’s awful right now we can’t even use the beach at all. Once you book and pay the AI fees it’s non returnable so we’re stuck here.

Santiago, I do not recommend this resort hotel I was in it and it was a disaster bad smell among the pools at the door of my room there were some raccoons that they would not let me enter the report and they told me that is normal

Hunters was our absolute favourite al a carte but the buffet & coffee shop/ice cream was amazing also

yes you still get basic alcoholic drinks, certain high end alcohols/wines does cost extra

Does any restaurant have lobster 🦞 and shrimps 🍤?
i can't remember, we are not big on seafood 😂. but i can recall some resturants have shrimp, not sure about the lobsters tho.

My last all inclusive we were able to make dinner reservation at 5pm and then a late dinner at 9 pm is this the case here ?
