I am an average spammy player hovering at around 5700. I spent three days with a max Jelly on my King, three with the Phoenix and the Phoenix saved a 3* on three attacks: with the Jelly they would have been 2*s for sure. With Overgrowth Spells, Valks and Roots I think it's fairly easy to keep the King with your main army anyway, so I am sticking with the Phoenix.

its not the defense targetting that benefits the king, its just the positioning, without the jelly theres a chance he will wander around but with it theres a guarantee that he will go with the Root Riders deeper and not deviating much
Hooked, have you changed your view on the hog puppet? I haven’t spent any ores on it since you said it was waste. But you’re using it now, so I’d love to hear your thoughts.
As soon as the Fox got nerfed the hog puppet became amazing.

I've noticed hydra attacks doing pretty well lately. Maybe that's just because my base sucks, but I will say that my TH15 and TH16 in clan wars have recently been getting tripled in like 90 seconds. I don't know, maybe hydra has always been really good and I'm just late to the party...

Box base, go in from TH side, funnel one side with RR and 3 valks, funnel other side with RR 2 valks and siege barracks, then spam right through TH, overgrowth the eagle twice.....
That’s what I used to do but none of the pros do it that way.

Getting 8/320 in 5800 anyone can triple any base not a single base works
If you can't understand how to do one of the easiest attacks in Clash Of Clans, then that seems like a skill issue to me.
@ryan.dragneel3774 I've had a few bases catch me out in 5700 +
16 days to unlock jelly then another 50 days to upgrade it to max, ridiculous, best to upgrade your defence first.
It depends on the skill and intelligence of the person to attack so some fail in the attack mission 🫡🇮🇶🌹
Try it on the warden!
That’s a bad idea haha warden doesn’t path the same as RR so he may go a different direction to your main army. Not worth the risk.
