I could say a lot about this video but, I said all of the time that all I wanted to be was happy. Looking back on it, I was happy but I was too "in the moment" to realize it. You have a roof over your head, you have your health, you live in Hawaii for crying out loud, and, your mom is with you and loves you so much. Never, ever, take her love for granted. That is THE purest love known to humans. Appreciate the NOW and, in retrospect, you will appreciate it later also.
@@checkerchamp8030 agreed. I used to say the same thing. All I ever wanted was to be happy. Being able to enjoy the present and be happy NOW is one of the most simple, but often difficult, choices to make. Hopefully you are happy now too! 🫶🏻 never do I take her for granted. It’s been just the two of us for almost half my life now. We are best friends.
I've learned to leave out negativity and negative people from my life. It's made my life way better. Negativity is very heavy, and hard to carry around. I think of the same things. Oh my gosh. Crazy. Or to think, if the cops did their job correctly or thoroughly. Maybe the family would still be alive right now. Oh my gosh I feel the same way about life. I've always felt trapped, and have that feeling like, I want to go home. If that makes sense. But yet not know where that's at, but know I want to travel around also and just be free.
Sounds like you are talking about Ho'opono'pono. If you don't know what it is, maybe look into it. If you don't know what it is, it will be a good thing to learn. The late Dr Ihaleakala was a great teacher. Also Morgan, I don't know how long you have been in Hawaii but I say this with all due respect but don't push being local to try to fit in. Ask any local about the way you pronounce Hawaii and they will tell you that locals don't pronounce it like that. Unless you are studying with a kumu hula, there is no reason for you to pronounce it like you do and even though you are trying, you are still pronouncing it wrong. Please don't take this wrong but there is nothing worse than a haole trying to talk pidgin when they are new. If you don't believe me, ask a few locals and see what they say. Just be you and you will do better than tying too hard to be local. Being local is earned by gaining respect and by being in Hawaii for years with roots there. Love your channel! You are going to succeed. Aloha a hui hou. ~ Malani
