I couldn't figure out why it was so short... looking at the time of the album today, just over 35 minutes.... that's a short album... but when you have good songs, with good words, it need not be long!!! This album is destined to be an artists' re-mixed galore-delight. I imagined hearing violins in the chorus of "I couldn't be your friend." Very coherent style beat. Congratulations on the new release.
I've listened to their singles in the past, but this is the first time I've listened to an entire T&S album all the way through (which is weird because electropop isn't usually my kinda thing) and I'm seriously loving it. Might go and check out their other albums this weekend. I've got a chance to see them with fun. this August and I'm super excited!
It still is Tegan and Sara. When I first heard closer I do think that the style may be close to like the others but they still have a taste of their own style. Love em!!!!

So many fans will buy this and "love" it because they are "heartthrobs" and to some it doesn't matter if they really like it, they just like it bc they put it out..What if someone else did this record, would they feel the same? It doesn't matter what I say anymore about this album bc I'll just get slammed with comments about not being a true fan, but the truth is I'm just being honest to myself. I really wanted to like it. No band makes me happier.
This is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. You're making love to my ears...and mind. Don't stop. This is the best stuff you've ever done, from what I've heard. "Closer" took me back to the sounds of the early 80's with "Video Killed the Radio Star"...which I agreed with at the time. But your video of "Closer" kicks ass. Much ♥ to you. And BTW, thanks for the extended play. I don't have to keep searching for the individual tunes and can hear the album the way it was intended. ♥♥♥
