Watching this interview makes me realize how easy life is for those who only get to ask questions about a problem without the burden of having to solve it. For a change, I would love to see what this lady host would be doing if she was given a task to come up with a new economic model for the country while at the same time, convince the majority of Malay folks that the Chinese are not a threat to them. I would love her to give her best shot at that.

I get your frustration but I don't see it that way. Her job is to get answers out of the guests which evidently is to be heard by us (the public), not just to answer her. Quite often the answers or responses to this hard questions is more impressive and more sensible than answers to soft ball questions. And she doesn't take sides politically, treats every guest the same, so fair game to her.

@@ChutneyCity Look, if it wasn't because of rafizi, we wouldn't have this unity government right now because PH was in shambles prior to rafizi's return to politics, just before GE15. Things would have gone very differently right now if it was Hadi Awang or Muhyidin at the helm should PN have won. BFM would have instead been interviewing Azmin or Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man as minister of economy. My point is, we should take a step back and at least be grateful that our country is now governed by highly competent people like PMX, rafizi, loke and a few others. Ask questions all you like, but don't act as if THESE are not our problems that we are asking rafizi to solve, and as if we can simply find another politician to do it as well as him. Because we cannot. Go watch the interview again. You can see Rafizi was visibly annoyed by the host on a few occasions.

This is realizing that things could have turn very ugly for this nation should rafizi have stayed away from politics back then. Do you even realize that? Right now, we could have had Hadi Awang as PM instead of Anwar. Do you think any other politicians are capable of coming up series of brilliant ideas that rafizi have and as we speak, implementing them? Asean and Malaysia has s not z. Tsk. Dua-dua slang apa ni?
Investors in the bursa left after his "high praise" of our bursa. Are they back?
Hello c0I9, lockdown, forgotten already? Of course la big companies have their own kpi. They have audit and management standard, same with government (iso std). Malaysian companies are not some gutter companies.
So the electric solar farm in Kedah? REE in Kedah too? Indonesia has the biggest reserve of REE.
The biggest stumbling block is "esok saya jadi pm harga minyak turun". Obviously pmx lied. This came from Rafizi's own mouth here, oil price will not be subsidized. Oppressing the low income, then the middle income, middle income eventually becomes low income, high income will become middle income. Stop following US formula. You are killing the people. What economic reforms, if it has been done in US then it is a fail formula. 8 months nothing, what is he talking about? Yes buy the gov workers, Rafizi admitted. If you stop subsidies you must make sure every body have the correct income. Goddddd, what bs. Has been waiting for 50 years? Pulizzz.
Dude you did not explain, for 8 months quiet except "sakau, sakau, sakau". Negotiation, you mean "hasut, menghasut Tun M" as you admitted previously. Inflation came down a bit but core inflation is still up. This means netizens still have to pay a lot more than before. The power of buying for consummers is still bad. IT IS NOT BETTER LA. The Malaysian political groups are always base on race. Malay are synomims with Islam. Muhyiddin has stepped down, has given the pm seat to Ismail Sabri. So what he said is wrong. What he see in Kedah, Kelantan and Trengganu is basicly wrong. So is his economic vision the same? What, no talk about the currency. Tsk. You lucky that the economy in the west "seems" stablized. Core inflation there are still high and they manipulated the way they calculate the cpi. Ish, not inovative, creative, proactive, still in the box, still follow imf formula. Reform, yeah.

We all know RR has the G matter to create the long term economic plan for the nation but he should be mindful that the current "set-up" of the current administrative set-up, plenty of changes are needed to improve our efficiency. Many African nations have had applied WB's call for an integrated national data system to wire up the whole Government's administration. Their inefficiency seems to be swept under the carpet;{ afraid the Government will lose their votes?]. While the Madani experience is being offered especially to the public service, changes also must be demanded from the Civil service to ensure openness and effectiveness in offering its services to the Malaysian people.
