That slide solo is absolutely amazing. It's one of those guitar bits which, no matter what you do, no matter what effects/equipment you use or tab you play from, you know you'll never get it right. Utterly fantastic stuff.
😂😂😂So true, I play a Gibson Les Paul and a Semi Acoustic Fender, no matter how much I bend my fingers, i manage not even nearly Edge's timing, technology or else. Once I had a discussion about who is better, Clapton or Edge, i said The Edge, he said im a idiot, Clapton is the best in the world!! (! Not true! Best player is Točak, a Serbian Dude where Clapton learned his style) , and everyone can copy Clapton, but NOBODY gets Edge's style, even Hetfield from Metallica said in the Recording process of the Black Album to Bob Rock (btw. their only Album worth mentioning!!! 😂) we need a Edge Guitar!!!! Rest my Case 🙏😊

I was at this gig. This was my second time to see U2 in the United Centre, 2001 being the first. This is one of my top 3 favourite songs performed Live, especially when it's extended (due to the stage guest). Listening to The Edge at this part is just pure magic. As for the chick.. She is absolutly HOT..!! I was about 20ft away from here in the crowd. Love watching this vid over and over again. Can't wait for July 5th 2011 in Soldier Field, and hopefully the chick will be there too..!!!

I don't want to choose or name one song of u2 as the best, but i think this song is musically speaking the best that they have made, the fucking guitar effects, the great bass playing, the heart beat on the drums, the lyrics and the voice, combined in this song and made it an hymn, a classic, a big legend, this song just kick asses and i don't care what people say. If you randomly chose a person to dance with Bono in front of 30,000 people, 999 times out of 1000 it would be a disaster. She's so smooth and dances just perfect for this song. Don't get me wrong though, it makes a great performance even better!
