2021 baby!! Leeetsss goooooo boy! This was a banga back when I was in college in the "90s. Heard it on the radio and went to the store to buy the Cadette.
This is for the Lover in YOUUU! I was working at Sam Goody when this came out, and it was SMASH HIT! I used to groove to it in my home basement parties! Hell YESSSSS!
J'adooooooooooooooooore cette chanson, je l'ai écouté y'a 6 ans et je la cherchais depuis mais je connaissais pas le nom de l'artiste jusqu'à aujourd'hui, je suis aux anges!!! lol
Dammmn! I've been searching for this song literally ever! And 2day was another episode of going through shit load of different videos. I thought it was Tamia who sang this. Finally I found it.
back to basics time to get your groove on let the party begin sample taken from a group called CHANGE 80s classic featuring the late great LUTHER VANDROSS ....THE GLOW OFF LOVE
@nyman1228 She was supposed to released a third album called Too Many Times in November 1999 but it was shelved when Elektra decided to push back its release date.
Très bon morceau effectivement.. mais Billy Lawrence n'a rien inventé. Le son original est du groupe Change "Glow Of Love" (RIP Luther vandross)... repris aussi par Janet Jackson avec son tube "All for you" ! Thx for posting :)
I kept wondering why for many years why I couldn't get into "All For You" was because I remember hearing this song on the radio alot back in 97. Same thing with Blu Cantrell w/ "Breathe" . I couldn't get into it because of the Dr. Dre song that came out before it
I thought she had a great voice and looked forward to hearing more from her, but she disappeared as soon as she came out. Can anyone tell me what happened to this artist and why did she stop recording.
Sorry, but Janet didn't copy this song. The music is from "The Glow of Love" by Change, written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. J&L simply used their own music for Janet's album. Billy Lawrence is irrelevant.
Genero WRONG and completely incorrect. “The Glow of Love” was produced by Jacques Fred Petrus. And was written by Romani, Malavasi and Garfield. Jam and Lewis DID copy the music for Janet’s song. And Billy’s version was first. Jam & Lewis never made the original Glow of Love. They didn’t even form as a duo until 1981. Glow of Love was recorded from 1979-1980 in ITALY and NYC. J&L were in Minneapolis still with The Time. Every thing you wrote was incorrect.
Talk about a song that evokes memories...... Every time I hear this song, reminds me of when I lived in AZ in the early 2000's
It's been 19 years since I last heard this song and I still love it today ...
