I am a bit late, but I just bought the game since it was on sale and before that I played, mxgp 2 and 3. I was blown away from the physics! Just amazingly smooth and no glitching, I love it! ❤️

What if they had an option, every time you crashed, your rider fell off his bike and had to get up and you have to make him run back to his bike, pick it up, kick it over and then go, would anyone think that's tight if that was an option to have to turn on or off lol
Looks great. I'd really like more free-feeling movement across the board, a difficulty option where I can't just go through the rhythm sections as if they're whoops, and more options for lots of different lines through the rhythm sections.
Wasn’t really empresses during the beginning of the video, still intending on buying the game, but then we got to the track editor (aka my fav) and now I’m so hyped. I pushed the track editor to its absolute limits in the first game and was always wanting more variety. I’m so excited to spend hours making tracks. Thanks for the video!
Really really really depressing that you can’t join real life teams. Considering not buying the game at all as a result. Also I think it would be really cool to add rider health and injuries. If they really wanted to make the career mode more immersive they’d add real teams to the game and injuries where you could miss a race if injured or get called from privateer to race for HRC or ME PC Kawasaki for a race or two to fill in for an injured rider or longer.
It is really unfortunate about the factory teams. The only thing I can say is if you have it on PC you're in luck as there is usually mods for the real team bikes and gear.
My problem with every milestone game is that the bike is under powered. Blurping the throttle gives almost no feeling of gforce or torque. Everyone ends up full throttle out of the corner, bouncing around in sections because the laws of motion are seemingly ignored "because its an arcade game". We end up over jumping or casing everything because the game does not allow us fine tune our speed leading up to the jump. If the bike had more torque/power we could adjust speed accordingly leading up to the jump and learn what speed is best for that section. Even an arcade motocross game should be based on somewhat realistic physics, taking g forces and the laws of motion into account will help everything feel more natural and reward smooth riding/punish over jumping and casing. Milestone games have always had pretty good cornering physics but that alone is not enough in 2019

I’ve said it 19367:$4$7371$ times but I’ll say it again: They are making an authentic experience. I’m sorry, truly, but whips are not part of Supercross. They are part of free-riding. The last rider I saw toss a big whip during a Supercross race was Justin Barcia four years ago. Scrubbing is all it is anymore and that’s why they kinda include a scrub (even though I agree that it sucks). If people like whips and that’s super important to them in a dirt bike game, then there’s All Out. A free riding game with completely free whip physics.
I like cornering in first Supercross. Strange that they decided to change that. Best part of first Supercross is track editor. And they didn't improve it at all. I don't like new career at all. But why there is no freestyle? They made some tricks but you can only use them once per race. Looks like waste of oportunity. There is realy no reason to buy this for me. I am happy with first Supercross. I spend all time in track editor. Scrubs were basic before and are same now.
Yup! Probably somewhere around 50 to 60 in my life. And no they don’t whip. I can walk you through the difference between a scrub and a whip if you’d like. They do a think called “kick outs” but that’s not a whip. Long gone are the days of JS7 or Ricky throwing a big upside down whip for the fans on the last lap.

You should post a bike tuning vid. With your favorite set up and how much different things affect control. I love the game so far, my main complaint is the stiffness of the whips but i don’t mind the script system. To level up fast / gain tons of money just make a track that turns off the start goes off a single finishline jump, then loop back onto the start. You can make 400k xp and 300 credits a race.
Great video; bought this yesterday and I’ve had a blast so far. Do you have any idea why Ken Roczen isn’t in this game? He was a notable proponent of Supercross 1, playing it and building tracks when he was injured last season. I can’t imagine he’d not allow milestone to use his license given that
Hi ... if you are thinking of getting this game bc you are a biker yourself then be prepared , I have been riding for 5 years now ( I’m now 13 ) this is a lot harder ( at least on controller) to handle than real life, I had amazing gameplay tho but watch your speed on the corners because you can’t rip it around as easy 🤙👍
Any one else remember the dirt bike toys where the ankles would kind of snap onto the bike, I feel like this game shows that a little bit and the riders feet don’t move to much except for the corners

There are still some downsides to the game -- haven't played it yet so I don't entirely know. Just going off of this video at the moment. But there is clearly some major improvement from MESX1 and it just looks really fun to play. And with the track editor, I'm hoping to have some good replay value to keep me busy from time to time. How does the rivalry system work? You have the percentage and decrease the percentage with head to head challenges, but what does that actually do and why?
I wish they'd just look at Mx vs Atv REFLEX and go from there... It had fairly realistic air time, rut physics were sweet, whips felt nice and overall physics was really fun to play...more power sliding would've been nice out of corners but.
People so you know there is a special track that you get for free if you buy the more expensive versions if you love old school Supercross they have added the coliseum in Los Angeles to the game

It’s always tough to say which is better. Honestly some people will like this game better and some will say All Out is better. I like them both for different reasons. This game is more technical and slow which provides a bit more realism whereas All Out is arcade-like and loose which also makes it quite fun. So it really depends on what you like

You don’t need to do career to earn credits. You can get more credits in career but single races, time trials and championships all earn credits for tricking out the bike as well. In terms of bike setups. I’ve only messed with it a little and it can help but it’s certainly not massively important. You can ride with stock settings and do just fine.
Not completely sure about the stick configuration but I believe you can map all controls to whatever button you like. I personally changed up my shifting, look back and camera change buttons manually so I believe you can make the sticks differently as well.
Hm this is definitely a bit more inclusive than the first one. I’m actually a little disappointed about the whip mechanics again, they don’t really seem to have gotten that down. I also think it’s disappointing that the AI is still unaware and they just plow thru you. But improvements I like is the starts, whoops, and it being a very rhythm dependent game. I’m actually pretty excited for it! Hoping I can get it very soon!
I've stuck with supercross 3 and mxgp 3 as far as the modern mx games go. Didn't waste my money on the ones after. Just bought this on sale for 3 dollars on the ps store and forgot how good this one actually was. Having a blast and for 3 bucks you can't beat it. I place this one 2nd next to 3 and as sad as it is this one was still so much better than 4, 5 and 6. I wouldn't even buy 6 if it was on sale for 3 bucks it's absolutely horrible. Ever since 3 they've gone backwards. I'm also still loving mx vs. Atv legends since it came out, I think that game is even better than the modern milestone games. There's so much content in legends and they atleast have terrain deformation that actually affects the bike. Milestone has had a thousand games to get that down now and never did.

You can run entirely your own setup. You can choose to run the sponsor graphics or you can run the different graphic options the game gives you. It’s entirely your choice

i think they just cant do it but they should change sponsors or give us livery editor like in ride 3

Really torn about getting this. Not sure at all. Never played a dirtbike game before, but it looks really cool. I've ridden dirtbikes before.
This in 360p is better than any mxgp game in 1080p.

Can u set the rear brake as RB or r1? Mxgp 2 u could do it and it was perfect. Mxgp3 took it away and super cross 1 didn't have it.
