    Ive always looked at working smarter not harder, when I'm shopping I see so many things and especially shapes for my dioramas, love your work ....

      It's amazing once you really start building in miniature, the world around you takes on a completely different shape. What was once a boring trip to the supermarket, now becomes a fun material hunting trip haha

      Yeah it really made me rethink what is possible when it comes to scale and not to only think of the world in 32mm haha. Thanks for watching

    The fairies at the bottom of my garden are 2 inches tall, but sprout a little after a summer rain shower.

      @creativecuts7803  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ahh yes the summer rain. Adds a bit of spring to all our steps. 👍

    The fireflies are surprisingly effective. But I always love these green + magic ones :).

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man. Many of my projects start with me wanting to realise a very simple idea and just satisfying my itch to see what it could look like. The fireflies were very much part of such an experiment. But its given me lots more inspiration for how to use these mini leds in the future. Thanks for watching 👍

    Great job on the diorama. Maybe if you run the wires from the LEDS down from the top of the mushrooms it would be a bit easier and paint them black or to match the background?

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I thought of a few different ways. But I wanted a nice spread of leds and not too close to the figure. I thought about painting the wires green or black to try to blend them a bit. But thought it might look too obvious. I will never know but in order to finish a project you need to make decisions and sometimes they may be wrong but that's OK haha.

    Absolutely loved this one!!! Anything whimsical/nature or nature based I would love to see more of. You absolutely nailed this one, its gorgeous and has given me inspiration to create my own. Would have loved to have seen more detailed instructions on how you connected all the led lights. Seriously a beautifully made project! 😊😊

      Thank you. Very kind of you to say. I will do a video soon where I go through all the electrics and how I wire it all together in a future video. This was very much an experiment but no I know my method works I will share it in more detail. Lots more to come 👍

    Wonderfull! If you are worried about organic material in dirt but want to keep it looking natural spray it with isopropyl alcohol.

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha I spray all the loose material with ipa before applying pva to seal it so kills two birds with one stone

      Haha great minds think alike. I wanted to do a snail trail and thought of a vool way of doing it with hot glue and gloss varnish. But the hollow log I put the snail on was too short to show it properly. Sure I could have put the trail in a different spot but it felt weird somehow and I talked myself out of it. I had an idea for a spiderweb too but the ideas keep coming which only inspires me to build more haha. Thanks for watching

    What paint you use to bring more color up to the soil?

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I pretty mich always use acrylic paints in my models. High quality paints like vallejo or pro acryl are my favourites. But I will often paint with transparent paint to act as a filter more than solid colour. This allows the natural variation to show through too

    What are these rules that you broke?

    • @creativecuts7803
      @creativecuts7803  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The rules of scale. Usually when you build a diorama you make something big very small. In this case I made something very small bigger.

      The rules of scale. Usually with dioramas you take something big and make it small. In this one I took something very small and made it big. Thanks for watching either way 👍
