Im 60 miles north of Lincoln and we had 15-18 inches all year. We normally have 40-50 inches. This is the earliest they have come this far north. It was funny to hear from the guys from the south about the cold. It was nice in the sun if it wasnt 20 mph winds.
I know someone who knew im from back in the day when he was still banging around in California, said everyone had an exceptional opinion of him. Kyle Larson offered him a contract based on virtually one casual meeting
Finally, get a race in even though it was cold watching this race. Mother Nature eliminated 3 of the 4 PA Outlaw races last weekend and this weekend. Just glad we got a race even though it was cold for us fans today. Mother Nature sucks for racing in the month of March in PA for 2023.
Heck of a race, and the winner passed Sweet like he was standing still! Mercy! Gravel's stuff must have give out close to the end as he started going to the rear of the field. But he still finished in the top 5 or 6th.
From Washington state but races for a PA team and has been racing in PA for going on 3 years and why he is currently called a PA Posse even though he isn't from PA.
So happy for Rico. Drivers get down on themselves when things don't go well. Rico is showing perseverance and putting in the extra work to make himself a better driver.
So ...... Gibbs dumped Busch So ...... Busch can't afford to Rowdy sponsor Rico So ....... Rico drives harder now with no sponsor. Same scenario seemed to work for Jacob Allen last year.
Rico winning, a question came to mind I've been pondering ever since. *QUESTION:* If I married two midgets, would that be *_Big of me?_* or *_Bigamy?_*
I can understand a couple provisionals, I think that's all they used to give if I remember correctly, so did 7 cars who shoulda made the main not do so to give those starting spots to those 7 provisionals or did they just add 7 more drivers to the starting lineup?? Who got the provisionals as well??
Kasey Kahne, Sheldon Haudenschild, Donny Schatz, Brock Zearfoss, and James McFadden were the Outlaws to use them. It was a tough night in time trials because the track was so slick and then heat races there were a lot of spin outs causing cautions to take those guys out. Understandable because they want to get points and all platinum drivers have 2 before July 1st, but probably should’ve limited the top 3 Outlaw finishers in the LCS instead of anyone who wanted to use one.
They had the possibility of moving that race to Thursday because earlier in the week it was known that Thursday was going to be sunny and in the 60s. They gambled on Friday but it didn't work out with the weather.
Rico gave a lot of credit to crew chief Wagner and said his car just kept getting better. Rico is so cool, happy to see him get an early win! Can't wait for the 410 winged warrior's get to Ohio Indiana and the rest of the Midwest.
Much better to be here and watch this race in the cold or if you couldn't, watch it on the web than to watch those March Madness games. Atleast with sprint car racing the drivers and their team determine the race results. For March Madness Vegas, organized crime, determines who wins alot of these games, especially when I hear over 15 billion dollars in sports betting happened for the 2023 tournament.
I read an article that said Rico's dad was in the top 10 most influential people in the history of the wine industry. Do you know how long people have been making & drinking wine? It's probably the highest accolade I've ever heard somebody say about another person.
Freddie Rahmer's best track is Lincoln Speedway and he is good at Williams Grove as well but mainly for PA Posse shows. He doesn't do much even at regular PA Posse shows up north in PA at Selinsgrove Speedway and especially Port Royal speedway. He is usually terrible at Port Royal Speedway, especially for the big money ASCOC and WOO races.
8:10 Rico compliments Crew Chief, Ricky Warner, setting up for the end of the race. 8:36 Rico admits knocking out the Jacobs Ladder, running into Ramer, made him faster. So .....How valuable is Warner's set up, when damaging the suspension and alignment, only made the car go faster? A contradiction, at best. If not an oxymoron.
Badass!! AllI'm going to say is Califuckinfornia Cartel with Devon Borden from Raymond, WA(State) in there for a p3&podium!! Congrats to Rico on the Dubb&the top 4 on a WEST COAST WHOOPIN!!! CM41 FOR P4!!!💯🔥🔥🔥🏁🏁🏁
2:26 Gravel passes eventual winner Abreu for position. Abreu goes on to win it. Gravel ends up 10th. Is Gravel points racing in the middle of March? Not sure if Gravel's point lead is big enough to sit on for 8 months.
@@ryansampsell3340 Thanks. Didn't know that. So, Gravel's fade may have been due to a crippled car? Instead of easy-stroking a point lead? That makes me feel better.
No matter who would've won. That was another great race at Lincoln. These guys put on a helluva show. 👍👍
May all beings be healthy, be happy, be well and be free. Including ourselves.
My first outlaw race in person and I had a lot of fun
Yeah same I got to be in the pace car

6 minutes of racing! Thanks for the longer highlights
Rico is a true professional and a guy the rookies should look up to.
@Rob F Should I search your past typing for mistakes?
@Rob F That was the farthest thought in my mind.
@Rob F Dude that one was too obvious.
@ballplayer1799 😄
Watching from New Zealand, great race Rico, luv the comment about the snow.....you guys in CA have been hammered this winter.
We basically had no snow here in the Pigeon Hills this winter.

Great job Rico. Nice guys don't always finish last!!! Seems like one of the nicest guys and drives the same way. Much respect.
The West Coast Posse did alright tonight!🙂
Great race! Great driving!!
Hell yea!! Helluva a racer there. Much deserved win 🏆
Great race 🏁 was nice to get back to the track
Sweet was spinning his tires not going anywhere when Freddie clipped his tire
Absolutely Nobody dislikes Rico. It would be impossible.
I know someone who knew im from back in the day when he was still banging around in California, said everyone had an exceptional opinion of him. Kyle Larson offered him a contract based on virtually one casual meeting
Always friendly in pit after the races. Good guy.
You got that right
As a 6'8" guy, it may be accurate to say that I'm Rico Abreu's BIGGEST fan! lol Go Rico!

No Jacob's Ladder too, what a legend. I saw Sheldon win one with no Jacob's Ladder a year or 2 ago maybe they're not all they're cracked up to be 😂😂

30 cars in the feature. How many transferred from the B? Top 14?
Knoxville, pay attention to this.
7 cars took provisionals. 5 of them outlaws...
@@JardTheRat Thanks. Haudenschild one of them? He's off to a lousy start in 2023.
Is that an all west coast podium? I think Borden is from Washington state.
correct

Anybody else see Gravel get railroaded with under 10 to go? I swear 3 cars zipped by him in under a lap.

Sweet really jumps the start by about 2-3 seconds
On the double file restarts the leader can fire off when he wants to he doesn't have to wait on second place car
Rico is the man, he likes the new tires I guess🔥💪🏿💰
Rico needs a indy 500 ride he'd be a rocket ship
It actually look like Rico's car was not handling all that great. Great driving Rico!
Need to stop giving provisionals. If you don't qualify for the A-main you shouldn't be racing in it, 7 provisionals is just ridiculous.
Never been a fan of provisionals either .

Freddie doing Freddie things. Imagine that! I guess talent isn't genetically inherited after all. Dad did it best in Abbottstown.
