Practically you can still go above 99. Though, it may end up making an overflow and get you from 127 (even though it would still say 99) to -128 (it would just say 1).
I tested it myself in HoTA (could be different in SoD), and it doesn't overflow to negatives like it would in games like Civ. If I remember correctly the number stays at 99 but you get the real number in stats when casting. Now for might stats it doesn't matter as the units don't have any benefits from stats over 99. I'm not 100% certain of this second theory though.
well, the gold can overflow for sure, but in which type are the stats stored? short short int?
@@Mish844 Actually, any resource can overflow (otherwise I couldn't have negative resources after buying as much as I can with negative money). As for the stats data type, I think it is char. If it were even short int I wouldn't have managed to overflow it without a trainer or other cheat (which I wasn't using when it happened).

@@Mish844 Considering Heroes of Might and Magic 3 was made in 1999, I suppose they didn't use really fancy game engines and only used as much RAM and computational power as they needed rather than push people to upgrade their PCs in order to play the game (like Cryberpunk 2077 and The Last of Us).
Also, there are signed char and unsigned char in C. They can store the same 256 characters with the exact same representations on 8 bits. It's just the way they are printed (%hhd and %hhu) and how they operate with other data types.
Afterall, the only differences between 2 data tyoes in assembly are their sizes in bytes and how they are operated with.

I am a noob about those fast PvP modes like that so can someone explain me the decision making about where to go like at 2:38? Why he chooses to engage pixies for 102 exp and ignored learning stone that gives 1000 exp and obvious level up? is that really not worth movement points at this stage of the game?
Pixies are on the way towards the town if he goes to the learning stone he might not reach the main becouse it's -150ish? move

Stables and mana vortex are probably the best
Town gate is actually mediocre at best. It costs shit ton of money and resources to build them (since you need at least two) and it is pretty clunky in usage. It's not as bad as Crystal Pond (or how does Rampart's building called?) but it is still much weaker than Stables or Mana Vortex. C-tier at best
Town portals utility relies on multiple inferno towns at good locations, is expensive, and largely made unnecessary by town portal spell. But occasionally it can be quite clutch.
Titans do 150% dmg to BD from what i know...

Its possible, in fact it might be one of the easier towns to do on 200%, since you have Deemer or Shakti.

There also is this map that I love on HOTA , called Barren Lands that is only playable on impossible and I managed to win with dungeon there ever time. It a great map.

how you swap artefacts so fast ?
it's some key combinations like ctrl + 1 or ctrl + 2
ctrl+1 to save a combination and then press 1 to load that combination. Repeat with different numbers for different loadouts :)

You can't get 100 in Heroes 3, only 99.
@@PetrosmanYou can. It just won't display. Though, I think it makes an overfloe from 127 to -128 (hence why I went from 99 to being stuck at 1).
