This first layout is the ultimate for me. Get lots of appropriate trains running realistically through some great scenery, & you then avoid the fakery that's noticeable on station or yard based layouts.
I watch these videos to get inspiration and end up thinking I need to start my layout again!!!! I suppose I have to console myself with the fact that many of these are club layouts where many people with many different talents have been involved in the construction where as it's just me on my layout and there are just some things I'm not very good at. I still love watching these videos as I now live in France where model railway exhibitions are a bit thin on the ground to say the least so keep them coming.
Hello David, overall it was a good show with some great layouts on show and defiantly worth a visit if you can. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment it is appreciated by me. Thanks Jason.
Hello Padishar Creel, thanks for taking the time to leave a positive and great comment, thank you, but there are lots of youtubers out there doing great content for us all to watch, but I do appreciate your comment. Thank you Jason
Hello Russell, I have to agree Hornsey Broadway is a fantastic layout and maybe the best of the show. Thanks for watching the videos and taking the time to comment, thank you. Jason
Hi Parax77, must admit it is one of the best layouts I have seen, just for shear detail and realism. A must to see in real life. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Cheers Jason
Hello Derek, I hope you had some great moments reminiscing about your time on the trains while watching the video. Thanks for taking the time to comment it is appreciated by me, thank you. Jason
dcc125 loved the job hated the shiftsbook on time 11.50 on a Saturday night on a ballast job in queens st tunnel class 26 chocking with diesel fumes frozen cold 🥶 heaters not working on the engine loved it happy days
A very good portrayal of the show. I'm looking forward to watching Part 2. Could I ask whether you're intending to go to the EMGS/S4 Society Skills Day at Didcot on 14th March? We (i.e. the EMGS) have had enquiries concerning whether a video will be available to watch online of the event. Thanks.
Hello Peter, thanks for the positive comments and taking the time to watch, it is appreciated by me. Unfortunately I'm not free on the 14th March as I have a prior engagement with the wife I cannot get out of. Hopefully it might be one I can catch for the future. Thanks again Jason
Amazing...love the donkey with nose in his feed bag...where the hell you get the army land rover model?...brilliant. some shots could be real photo. 4:29 that you filming on bridge ?...lol what detail. when trains pass signals and they change when its out of section....is it a sensorthey have or is it switches ?
Hi Russell, thanks for the comment, I wish I was as good looking as the person on the bridge to claim it was me!!!!! I also liked Hornsey Broadway and thought it was a great layout. Thanks again Jason
Except for maybe 4 layouts I thought it was another poor exhibition, went on the Friday. Exhibition managers need to realise there are modellers that dont just model British, the European layouts where poor quality as well
Hello Dave Dawes, thanks for taking the time to comment and watch the video it is appreciated by me and its a shame you feel the exhibition was poor. Maybe highlight your feedback directly to Model Rail Scotland and hopefully they may listen for next year! Cheers Jason

pt.1 just marvellous excellent craftsmanship & pro-shot fine detailed work complements from canada.

@@dcc125 your vids are always great, just wish some of the exhibition manager looked around properly for European layouts
