Fun fact: if you're in Impact Time when the Crashbreaker meter fills up, you'll dramatically slow in-game time to a point where you can easily detonate a Force 10 Crashbreaker at 100%...
@@CaptainCanuck1975I never figured that out, until just seeing this comment lol Also, Forest Bump is my favorite crash junction name for this reason lol
@@CaptainCanuck1975that isn't the only Star Wars related pun in one of the crash events. A crash event from Assassin is named "Car Wars" which definitely is a pun on Star Wars, just that "Star" is replaced with "Car"
I had problems with Car Wars. The top section of the overpass was tricky. Crash Of The Titans at 48:48 was the hardest one for me. Ended up having to do it twice as well because the video I recorded when I got the gold medal the first time had distorted audio.
The impeccable sound design in this game never fails to put a massive grin on my face. My favorite burnout game by a substantial margin. And are you intentionally downgrading your crashbreakers or what? So unsatisfying to watch a 50% breaker
31:27 I don't understand why the American tankers explode, when the European & Asian tankers don't? In Burnout 3 Takedown all three regions tankers can be exploded.
@@CaptainCanuck1975I'd be very surprised if that's the reason, considering that outside of the crash junctions Burnout Revenge has crashbreaker Race, Road Rage, Eliminator, & Grand Prix events.
It's likely just a programming inconsistency. This game was quite rushed initially, and the port must not have fixed many existing bugs. Not to mention those tankers were initially containers.
Took me a lot of tries to win the gold medal on Mount Crushmore, and ended up getting it on a complete fluke. Wanted to get a better clip that didn't rely on luck, but gave up after about 20 more attempts.

I mean let him do his no impact time challenge lol
I love a lot of the names of these crash mode events they are so cleverly named
Somebody at Criterion Games really liked puns. Took me way too long to figure out Return Of the Semi is a play on Return Of the Jedi though.

Car Wars at 38:40 was always the hardest for me. Eternal City and Lone Peak also had some challenging ones. Nice video, loved this game and Takedown.

@@CaptainCanuck1975 nah I’d say Mount Crushmore was the hardest
@@shadowknight9395 u know what? After replaying the game, I kinda agree. It's very hard to get everything right.

Would imagine a Crash Mode level named, "Under Destruction"...
There's already a similar pun: Deconstruction Site.
Sunshine Keys should have received maybe a few more crash events smh
Their we’re only like two crash events in here that you did it a specific way that I couldn’t replicate

That's weird. Maybe it had something to do with trying to get a more family-friendly rating from the review boards.

Was the boost start bar being omitted in the 360 version?
@@NoBillsOfCrashDamageReally hope we can have a patch of it though
Mount Crushmore is nearly impossible for me. Took the same route and used the same car and can barely get $4 million..

why do you wait so much before spamming the crashbreaker button?
Amazing New Sub Bro..
Is every crash junction in Burnout Revenge in this video?
I'm pretty sure all of them are in there.
@@CaptainCanuck1975 Nice. P.S I'd love to see more Burnout Revenge except on the Xbox Series X because it's backwards compatible.

There's a sound problem. You can hear it drop off in certain parts.
