Hey- if anyone else just like... powers through joint issues like our dear Julia, go see a doctor. I powered through knee and shoulder and hip and wrist and finger issues for like 25 years before seeking any kind of help at all. Turns out I have rheumatoid arthritis. It took me a further few years after that diagnosis to get PT for my real bad shoulders. And just yesterday, I was prescribed further PT. You don’t have to just accept crummy joints! Sometimes there is relief to be had.
Seriously do. I have a friend who just "powered through" arm/wrist issues and now their arm is so messed up they had to quit their animation job for awhile.
My knee is like this. I keep trying to power through. But I also have a phobia to surgery after a guy came in to speak during a college class who went in to surgery and they messed up and he lost his leg.
I’m not a doctor. I’m a costume designer and theater teacher, so... pretty much the opposite of a doctor. But in general, orthopedic doctors do everything in their power to fix natural joints without surgery, especially when the issue is not directly caused by trauma. Have you done physical therapy? A few states (DC and NJ to my certain knowledge) allow physical therapists to intake patients without a referral if ortho docs scare you too much. Otherwise, a doc will do some X-rays, feel up your knees a bit, and likely prescribe physical therapy! You deserve legs which work as well as they possibly can. And your legs deserve that too.

You should play the Stanley parable, it’s a really good game that I think would be great to play on stream.
