Most, if not all of these tips have been covered multiple times by many TH-camrs, but you do a great job of explaining them in a way that is easy to understand 😊
Dogg man, you're right, we have been doing it wrong for the last thirty years. But the biggest tijp is: two hours and forty minutes is a lot of coffee.
@@FlynndoggWoodwork But since, you are the Dogg man, we stuck in there. If it weren't done on Sunday, we would have had a heck of a push up work out with all the "brand" name tools being used or mentioned. Keep it up Dogg man.

I really appreciate that Kevin! Thanks so much for watching. This was a long one and I cut out quite a few (because I don't use them that much). but I think there were some decent ones in there! Thanks so much for the kind words, really appreciate it!
Thanks Bryan! As a beginning woodworker, this compilation of tips, tricks and hacks is priceless! It also gave me another opportunity to strengthen my ADHD concentration. A double benefit!

Load of great info in this video. The jig for daidos size with router bits was my favourite one. It's taken me three days to get to the end of this mammoth tips video.
Oh nice! I did quite a bit of research for a lot of these tips! Thanks so much for your kind words and thanks for watching. Go Hoosiers! Can't believe they are 8-0!
Great video the tip above placing a magnet to to your strew driver shank definitely works. If you want to make it magnetic . For a far longer period . Wrap a length of insulated wire . With the wire spiral wrapped around it shank. Use a 12 volt battery . And hold one of the wire to the one post . And quickly strike across the other post . Caution do Not hold to post . Just simply touch and lift .Like striking a wood match. 2 to 3 times . Now you’re tool is magnetized. Works great on wrenches too to hold a nut to the wrenches. To reach difficult areas
Love this idea James! Thank you so much for sharing, I'm totally going to try this out! Thanks so much for sharing, really appreciate it and thanks for watching as well!
Haha! Oh I'm very familiar with that movie. My roomate in college used to make me watch it all the time! He only had two things in life, and one of them was a thermos!
Oh man! I'm sorry Thomas. It was a long one that is for sure. Someone else on TH-cam was asking me why I hadn't done any compilations yet, so I thought I'd give it a try. Kind of cheating I think! :)
Couldn't agree with you more about You Tube being a marketplace. I mean how many height gauges does one need? Some of my favorite videos are those that actually make tools rather than buying one. For example there are commercial kerf makers that cost a small fortune. There are tons of videos that show you how to make one with a couple of pieces of scape hard wood and a flat head screw. Works perfectly fine.
@@FlynndoggWoodwork No problem. You yourself just demonstrated exactly what I mean. With just one set of set up blocks, you were able to make a very accurate set up gauge with just a scrap piece of 4x4. Pretty ingenious in my book. Thanks!

Great question. I have a few of them now. I have a rail square XL which was way too expensive for what it is. I get the same if not better results from some of the cheaper $30 ones you can find on amazon. There is also a new one I'm reviewing in a video coming out tomorrow that is excellent as well. I don't think you need to spend a whole lot of money on them to have a good one! Thanks for the question and and thanks for watching Randy!
Thanks so much Rayansandysteward! How 'bout them Hoosiers. Yippie! Crazy. It's almost like they want to take on the tradition of our formerly good basketball team! :)
I was going to laugh at you about not knowing to flip the sandpaper over on the spindle sander, but you're smart enough to have the money to buy a spindle sander, and I don't.
One does not need activator for CA glue. It's a waste of money seeing as how water works as well. Lately I have been trying something even less orthodox. After putting the glue on the object intended to be attached, I lick my finger and wipe it on the surface I'm gluing something to. I've done it several times and find it is faster than the CA glue alone. And infinitely cheaper. That's my glue hack!
Haha! I could definitely do a compilation on those! :). Man, Sometimes I find one in my shop that I totally forgot about! :). Thanks so much for watching Rod!

Blade thickess is generally from the outside of one cutting tooth to the outside of the next. This takes into account the offset of the saw teeth.
Yes! You are correct. You need to incorporate the set of a saw blade. Fortunately miter saw has minimal amount

Sir, will the Combo Blade work on the Radial arm saw?
Fold sandpaper smooth side in and cut through from the back. Straighter cut and is saves a bit of wear on the blade.
