I'm thinking of going to my natural grey/brown hair color. I've been purple for the last several years and I love it but think I'd like to see what my natural color is. I love that you commented as you watched, I often want to do this because she talks about so many things and I have thoughts on many of them. I may do this more in the future.

I so get where you’re coming from girl. I’ve had such anxiety that I only watch the news once a day for about 15 minutes. We can only control how we react to a situation. Hang in there. My mom is my world so I get that you have to take care of them. Your a very good daughter. Get out in the fresh air always helps me too. I so look forward to your videos.

These long vlogs are giving my life meaning lately😂 I’ve been furloughed from my job for 3 weeks. My boyfriend had to go into actual isolation from potentially being exposed to the virus by a family member. These are crazy times but we’ll all get through it. During quarantine I was cleaning out a closet... I found a bag with an old Halloween costume from my boyfriend’s ex *** It was pure GOLD! GAP overalls in my size!
Girl you are not alone in your worries and struggles! It’s completely normal how you are currently feeling. Worry and anxiety is part of all of us, maybe stronger in others and less in some. Do you practice any mindfulness to help with your worries? Meditation, journaling, deep breathing exercises, hot baths, and etc. There are so many ways to help manage your fears and worries. I would highly recommend giving some of these things a try!

I was already in a huge emotional state last week because of the virus then my dad passed away. This week has been rough and probably the worse of my life so far. Watching TH-cam helps me keep my mind off things at night when I’m trying to get sleepy
When you said you haven’t had chips on a sandwich my eyes got so big like “girl...what?!?” I remember being little and coming home from school to watch Full House or whatever with my brother (6 years older than me) and he’d make us sandwiches (he’d make 2 for him) and we ALWAYS put chips in our sandwiches! I still do that. It’s great! -thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

I've been putting chips on my sandwiches since one accidentally got stuck to my sandwich when I was little and I fell in love with the addition of the flavor and the crunch.
Husband-Man thinks it's weird...but both of my boys do it with all of their sandwiches now after years of seeing me do it. My 19 year old went away to college and introduced his roommates to it as well. And my 8 year old won't eat a sandwich without them. So who's really the weird one?

This will sound terrible, but I told my brother the other day that I was oddly relieved our Mom had already passed away a few years ago. She had horrible pulmonary fibrosis, RA, and heart disease. I had to watch her be intubated and stay on that ventilator for two weeks (out of the seven she spent in the hospital) before her poor body gave out.
Now with Covid...the thought that people aren't even getting to be with their ill family members absolutely breaks my heart into a million pieces. I would have never been able to wrangle my social butterfly Mom and it would have panicked me every single day to think of her getting this horrific virus.
You do whatever you feel like you need to or can do for your parents. I appreciate and respect how much you love them and want to help. I'd be the same way, albeit....a lot less sane. I will pray for them AND you and Granteroni. Always. Much love! (sorry to be so depressing...I wasn't trying to be)

Same thing happened to me. Exhausted half way thru the day and slept all night. Had to nap as well. It’s stress it’s depression. It sucks. I’m trying to stay positive. Sigh. Sometimes you just have to break down to build your strength back up. I think we all just have to breathe and be gentle with ourselves and each other. Stay safe XoXo 💜💞💜

Every time my kids and I get together we always play Disney Villainous. It's SO fun. It's a little hard to get the hang of and I'm not sure how well it would play with just two people but we love it. There are extensions for other villains, too. I know this whole stay at home thing is hard. I haven't seen the above talked about kids in weeks. Thank you for keeping us entertained. It's ok if you're having a hard time. We all are. Love you. And tell Grant thank you for being a doctor. It's not a light thing. Big hugs!
Love the overalls! I got a pair almost a year ago, I get compliments every time I wear them, and the pocket on the front is the most handy thing ever!
thats what i found too! i mean no one complimented me... grant just heckled me 😂 but putting my phone in that pocket was so convenient!
I get chronic neck and back pain, and I get headaches like that constantly. Heating pads and massaging my face and neck muscles really helps. I also find that icy hot is really helpful

I've found since being stuck at home with my hubs that we are actually much more creative than I thought. We recently ordered a bunch of polymer clay and tools off amazon but it's so fun just creating things. It also helps to keep the stress down. I've personally taken a step back from fb bc I cant deal with everyone on there right now. I understand the worries you have so much.
I envy your plant life so much! I want to start a garden but I've never planted anything before so I'm so lost.

100% understand trying to help out your parents. Mine live about 25 minutes from me and I’ve been doing all their grocery shopping for them because they’re both high risk too. I go shopping and my dad comes and picks the groceries up out of my trunk so we don’t have to have contact and they don’t have to go to the store. I end up at the store more than I should because I have to shop for us and them, but we all feel so much better about it all.
Your video is my coffee break from work today. I'm exhausted and overworked and your video gives me some time and space to relax....and your videos always have. I remember writing my BA and MSc theses and I would always have your videos in the background because hearing you and your thoughts and jokes just makes me feel better... thank you for putting your content out there. Being a migraine sufferer for YEARS, the headaches that start in your neck are typically tension headaches. I used tension headache relief and that usually works. I’ve been dealing with a seasonal allergy migraine for a couple days. I’ve been taking prescription migraine meds. It’s better today but still hurts. But I’m just gonna ride out the rest of it. I don’t like to take the meds for too long. And I LOVE the overalls!!! They are so cute! Glad you pulled off the tag!

I understand how you feel w/ respect to your parents. My parents are at high risk too and I'm wanting to do everything for them, so that they don't have to step a foot out of the house. I'm shocked that some people will tell you that it's not your job, because they are YOUR parents! I'm super close with my parents and would do anything for them in the safest way possible. I have two little babies, a single mom, got laid off and I’ve been in a deep downward spiral. Trying to stay strong but this is all taking a giant toll on me, you and everyone 😌
And then we find ourselves worrying about worrying or not worrying. You are making total sense and this whole situation is maddening. Your floor looks fantastic. I still have and wear my Osh Kosh overalls from highschool and have _never_ stopped wearing them! I love wearing them and I have been collecting vintage pairs over the last few years. Those are adorable on you and you will appreciate their comfort and utility. You and Grantaroni are very smart to stay productively distracted. I know you had lavender hair ages ago, so in the same idea of temporary/demi-permanent hair dyes, there's a lot of companies that make them in natural hair tones as well! Overtone conditioners have a natural hair color line, and then available on Amazon there's an inexpensive brand called Adore that has natural colors. That way you could try the dark and it would just wash out eventually. A good trial run! & they're all just color-depositing conditioners, essentially.
The garage floor looks good. Guacamole burger with pepper jack sounds good. Potato chips on tuna salad or cold cut sandwiches are a must. I need to buy more plants for my home. You are long and lean, so you can carry overalls. I'm a size 2, but at only 5'0 tall, but they don't flatter me. I look like a farming dwarf.

I get tension headaches too! I find heat to be really helpful. I generally lie flat on my back with a heating pad for 30 minutes then I stretch it out and it usually helps a lot. Also a bath tends to help.

Lady, you are doing the right thing. They would do it for you, it is only natural that you want to help them. They are your family.
Stress headaches. Try some Advil Migraine. I'm a college student also working full time and I get them daily and the advil migraine with an ice pack usually helps. ( also sometimes for the bad ones a good dose of CBD and a nap)
I have that same kind of headaches and are really bad. They are caused by stress. I take Exedrin for migrane.
Take a Tylonel and either Aleve or Excedren. Sometimes you just need to combine the medicine to help kick the headache 🤕 out.
Yes ice!!! And I’m preferential to the excedrin migraine gel caps, but honestly I think it’s just that combo of acetaminophen, aspirin, and caffeine.
@@mirandaranda Yes it is the combo. I have to eat something before I take it, plus an omeprazole because it hurts my stomach. The ice is also helpful.
I got a good laugh when you guys were on the couch with Luna and every time you or Grant would touch his face Luna would paw the hand away like STOP TOUCHING THE FACE! NO FACE TOUCHES! Clearly Luna is very educated on how to stop the spread of viruses.
After all this I think people are going to start appreciating all the little things and start loving their natural selves 💜
I resorted to eSalon for my roots this weekend. I know how to color my roots, but have re-affirmed that paying my stylist is worth the $. Prayers for both your parents. Me and my 2 brothers are keeping our mom stocked with supplies. Thank you for keeping up the videos.
I have done my own hair color since I was 16 and I’m in my sixties now and had my husband get a box at the store today. I get so depressed when my hair is dark and we don’t need that🚫👎🏻. Your support for your parents is the best gift 🎁 you can give! My kids are so supportive and it helps me soooooo much😍😷😥

Taking care of your parents is your job! I won’t ever get on you for wanting to help them! I’ve been mailing my parents essentials as I live in hour away form them and they live about 20 mins from a big store. Keep helping them as much as you can! And stop watching the news, Grant can give you news updates. I had to give it up as my anxiety was through the roof. I’m much better now! CBD helps too!

I’m soooooo excited for your Lego adventure! I grew up in a lego house and we had a bunch of sets that we left built as decor, it very much depended on the specialness of the set. Now I have quite a few of the Lego town buildings, the little Lego Main Street is set up on top of my China cabinet!
Yes, it is one of the many medications I take for RA. I hope when I have to refill it my pharmacy will have it.

Hang in there girlie! I'm aiming to complete one productive thing each day. Some days it's cleaning and re-organizing a room, other days it's just a load or two of laundry. I totally understand your worry for your family. My parents are also in the high risk category, my mom works customer service for WALMART and they still want to travel to see my sister who just had a baby. Like, I get it, new grand baby, but I just can’t seem to get them to understand the importance of staying home (outside of work, cos Walmart stops for no man.) Your exhaustion is totally understandable, it’s your body’s way of dealing with all of the stress we’re all under. We’re all trying to deal with this the best we can 💜 lots of love to you, Grant, and your families

Leigh Ann I’m going back and watching your old vlogs and I get chronic tension headaches that start in my neck and move up into my head. The company saje sells a product called peppermint halo that’s a blend of essential oils in a roller ball. At first when someone recommended it to me I was like… there is no way that works. But the same person bought it for me as a gift and it does! I used to get these headaches like 3x a week and peppermint halo has honestly changed my life. The peppermint draws blood to the area and has a similar effect as heat, just better. I know it sounds crazy but it really did change my life and I’m not a crazy essential oils person at all
