Well worth the wait ❤ Thank you Stephanie and Philip. Love Dan so much, he's a hero. I've watched him from the beginning thanks to you and Mummy hiring Dan as the gardener. ❤❤❤
The utensil organiser is simply amazing. I also love to have things accessible and hate clutter in my kitchen drawers. The material is also beautiful. Well done Phillip & Stephanie.
Oh how delightful seeing that practical yet adorable transformation. It changes the whole cupboard and a joy to see such organisation 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 More please of these 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Isobel is going to be amazed at how organized everything is becoming. Just make sure that the laundry room is in PRISTINE condition for her return. 🥰🤣🥰🤣🇨🇦 The episode where she was having a melt down about the laundry room was one of the first videos I ever watched and was hooked. I still go back and watch it. ☺️
I had my sofa covered in natural 'metis' with a majority linen as I am going to make a slip cover over it sometimes soon. I found a roll of William Morris type printed linen at Emmaus for SIX euros, enough to cover a double sofa. Only in France.
I love Phillips feminine side!! My Father had a feminine side. He loved that my mom was really good decorator. He always loved to show off her designing. He was quite proud of it. And he always helped with hanging pictures, and curtains and helped mom hang wallpaper and he always made his bed. They slept separate bedrooms because my mom said he was quite a wiggle worm and always moving about and she just couldn't get any sleep, lol. He never left his dirty clothes lying about he always put them in the laundry room kept his suits hung up properly. He would do dishes if mom was tired or not feeling well and he would run the vacuum cleaner keeping the carpets all clean. Those are the best!!! My Frenchman was like that, unless he had alil to much wine or liquor!! lol.
That was so smart!! Some times you have so many kitchen gadgets that they get lost in the drawers. Well done and so creative. The material looks wonderful against the brown of the cupboard doors.
@@poodlegirl55 i have one of those on my wall...it's quite a strong magnet specifically for knives and I use it for other things too like metal tongs. I love it. Not sure how it would work on a moving door, but I prefer the knives out near the work space anyway...so much easier to access.
Suggestion: For your DIY cupboard project (which looks FAB!) I suggest assigning sharp items (scissors, etc.) to places closest the edge of the door for easy retrieval, and - lining the bottom of the pocket with a wood scrap to prevent holes developing over time. Or, simply drop a bit of wood on the bottom of each one. One of the handy guys can supply appropriate scraps, I'm sure! I simply used an over-the-door shoe organizer with see-through pockets! BTW, I think the hippo skewer can be used to retrieve olives from a jar at the table. Less "drippy" than a scoop or spoon.
After seeing that lint remover I immediately went onto Amazon and one is on its way. There is nothing more satisfying than learning about an awesome little device to make life the smallest bit easier. 😍 Love it!!
I think I learn something new from every one of your vlogs. I particularly enjoy domestic and social history. I wish I was sitting at your table. My thoughts and best wishes to all of you.
Philip is a great seam-mister……a really good understanding of fabrics and the versatility of fabrication. You two are so alike……you are soul mates in every sense of the word…..
Oh! What if you had those little inside-the-cupboard lights, that would turn on automatically when you opened the Narnian wardrobes??? That would be helpful!
Looks fabulous. The fabric and Philips sewing skill really makes the cupboard now. Mummy will love it too! Isn't amazing how many "kitchen gadgets " we accumulate?
the duplicates... in my kitchen, it's always an issue because I swear I have something but I can't find it, so I buy a new one, and then I have seven of them.
Amaury and Natti are just low key the cutest. She got him a room measure. So thoughtful and adorable. You and Philip are so creative and talented. Love watching you create things together.
Steph,,you are truly so creative! Between sewing, cooking,,and shaving your sweater,,,I really enjoyed this! Fun and relaxing,,thanks so much. Tk you, and your adorable assistant 😍 💕
I love it! I think I will make something similar for our basement door off from our kitchen. My home is a small Sears kit home from 1927. I really enjoy your blogs! 🌷
What a joy when the end result far exceeds your expectations, and that's just what this video did for me. Admittedly I didn't have high hopes for the kitchen pantry project and once again Stephanie and Philip hit a home run with some cloth, a bit of sewing and a vast array of kitchen utensils. Remarkably creative, very functional and really an attractive solution to the tangle of much needed tools of the trade. Needless to say, nothin' says lovin' like order in the pantry!
Love, love, love the organizing going on at the. Chateau!!! If I don’t have an organized place for things…with labels….everything piles up and I can’t find anything. Then it gets overwhelming!!! Great idea and vlog!
Lovely project! I so enjoy watching these little DIY projects, you do it with such flair. And the sound of those scissors cutting perfectly through the fabric is uber satisfying!
The wooden rhino utensil is could be a drink stirrer/swizzle stick or perhaps a lady’s hat pin. Is it wooden or real rhinoceros horn? I love it! Also, I love your ingenuity and hard work, both of you! You’ve inspired me to make some for my cupboards; however, I will be lazier (and as I rent, I have to be careful of not putting holes in the wooden cabinets) and make a very long utensil cloth, draping it over the cabinet door on each side (inside and out) and then sewing pockets accordingly. The weight of the items in the pockets should keep it put and if I get a thin enough of a fabric (probably canvas, because it is accessible, cheap and sturdy), the door will still be able to close. Great job both of you, Stephanie and Philip! 👏🥰
Doing those cupboard doors is very 1980's. I used to do that for the bathroom or for the bedroom and the kitchen had plastic on fabric pouches. It's always useful and yours is very pretty.
I worked at a Drycleaners for 25 years mostly pressing the clothes, but we also snipped loose threads, replaced missing buttons, lint rollers and shaved garments with the electric lint remover. We called them fuzz busters 😄. It IS very satisfying making clothing look like new
What a lovely surprise when you decided to use the Spode fabric I sent to you in Cadeaux at the Chateau. Philip and Stephanie you did a fantastic job, looks perfect🤞🏼👏🏻💕
What a beautiful cupboard now ! I like blue tones it matches so well with your plates in the kitchen. You have always good ideas, I am impatient to see the works in the chapel it will be stunning ! Have a good day and take care.
You must be American. American's don't understand character. They think everything has to look new. And I'm American, but I have never thought that way. Original paint reigns in my house.
What a transformation to the cupboard. I was expecting more storage for the time and effort that went into the job however I'm sure it can be added to through time.
This was brilliant and I was as excited as you two as you designed your idea and constructed the final project which turned out not only perfect for utility purposes but also eye catching, homey and brought life into the cabinet! Bravo!
Great project! I have same problem, drawers overloaded, - but I’ll do one side for cooking tools and other for baking things. & I might use some reinforced blue & white French ticking! Thanks for ingenious ideas…
Robert Rino I believe was used to tap loose tobacco into a smokers pipe. My Gramps was quite a pipe smoker, many years ago, and used his “Robert Rino pick, to dig out used, and tap in new loose tobacco.
I’ve filed my kitchen utensils in the following categories: wooden….not wooden….lumpy. This is in celebration of having more than one drawer for the first time in years. Works for me🤓
A DE-BOBBLER, as I call it, is the best thing ever!! 😍 My friends used to laugh at me and throw their perfectly good woollens away 😳 nooo! With this clever little gadget you can restore things to new!!!!!!!
As a person that is obsessed with organization and cleaning I find this to be a great idea and very satisfying to see everything so organized.
Stephanie, what I love about you is your creativeness combined with sewing. Bring back sewing in your videos is so inspirational. Thank you.
Oh how delightful seeing that practical yet adorable transformation. It changes the whole cupboard and a joy to see such organisation 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 More please of these 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great idea
Wow that fabric just bought that cupboard to life what a great contrast of the dark wood against the blue well done you two.

I think I missed that one..... Can you give us the link or title? Sounds like a good one!
Brilliant idea, every kitchen should have one! Cat will be proud of you for such organisation!

👏🏻 Bravo
Omg amazing!!
Beautiful organizational idea! Looks wonderful! Great job. Love to all ❤.
Fantastic teamwork Stephanie and Phillip!! It looks beautiful!
Really enjoyed that ,it’s like we are all standing in the kitchen with you 👍👍👍

That shade of blue is perfect against the wood. Honestly is looks like it was always there. So beautiful!!!
Beautiful fabric and what a great idea for its use. It's good fun to see projects happening in the Chateau. 🤗
That was so smart!! Some times you have so many kitchen gadgets that they get lost in the drawers. Well done and so creative. The material looks wonderful against the brown of the cupboard doors.
Love a good kitchen reorg. I was surprised the larger panels didn’t have pockets but it sure looks lovely ❤️🇨🇦
We’re thinking of adding hooks to those panels, for hanging utensils
@@TheChateauDiaries that’s a great idea! I should have known you wouldn’t let that real estate stay undeveloped 😉
@@TheChateauDiaries ...great! Please show us how that ends up.👍
@@TheChateauDiaries What about screwing magnet strips to the cross boards also? You could stick knives and things to it.

There’s nothing better than organizing the gizmos and gadgets!! Great job and beautiful to look at!

Very excited for DIY organizing videos, always a delight to solve clutter issues, no matter the size of the home.
What a great DIY idea. Happy that you found a use for the fabric. Carry on!

Love the new organization in the kitchen. So pretty and practical. Job well done 👍 😍😘

FWIW, I just was watching the earlier post of this video, and little Robert Rhino looks like a cocktail or sandwich skewer to me! How delightful.
I think you've got it. Sandwich skewer.
Cheese pick was what I was thinking.
I was thinking skewer too.
What an excellent idea and it looks so beautiful. I think I’ll be trying this too. Love 💕 to all at the chateau xxxx
I love it! I think I will make something similar for our basement door off from our kitchen. My home is a small Sears kit home from 1927. I really enjoy your blogs! 🌷
Well done! Practical and quite beautiful. You are both very clever. I love organization and thinning out what is not useful.

I’m feeling so overwhelmed with everything that is going on right now, watching your channel is my necessary dose of self care. Thank you.
Beautiful. Satisfying to watch. My family took my little lint baller machine away from me. Lol I think you might easily understand why.
😂😂😂
I worked at a Drycleaners for 25 years mostly pressing the clothes, but we also snipped loose threads, replaced missing buttons, lint rollers and shaved garments with the electric lint remover. We called them fuzz busters 😄. It IS very satisfying making clothing look like new
Wide utilities containers sitting on shelves and ones that match would be great for all the ones that you all use a lot.
What a lovely surprise when you decided to use the Spode fabric I sent to you in Cadeaux at the Chateau. Philip and Stephanie you did a fantastic job, looks perfect🤞🏼👏🏻💕
Thank you so much for sending it! We absolutely love it 😍
What a great idea? Love it. Best utensils organiser I’ve ever seen 🥰
The gorgeous blue & white material against the dark wood is lovely.
It looks amazing!! Well done!💙💙💙
Great idea to use cheese slicer for peeling cucumbers, you work so well together. ❤
I'd use the Rhino to poke holes in cake or anything that needed a glaze- maybe a lemon bread, a Christmas pudding or a whiskey cake.
release steam on oven bag, though most would use a pointed knife, or puncture holes in ham, so one could add cloves.
It could also be used as a sandwich pick
You really are the dream team! Beautiful creations fit for a Chateau kitchen indeed!
It's such a joy to see you both working together. The fabric is just beautiful xx
So nice to see you both work together it really is important to wish so much my husband and I had done that, well done both
The finished result looked great! 👏😍
Now I want to do my cupboards like that. Great job.
What a beautiful cupboard now ! I like blue tones it matches so well with your plates in the kitchen. You have always good ideas, I am impatient to see the works in the chapel it will be stunning ! Have a good day and take care.
The cupboard could use a fresh paint job as well. The fabric adds so much. Very cute. 👍🏻
I’d love to but the doors still have their original paint, so I’m torn
You must be American. American's don't understand character. They think everything has to look new. And I'm American, but I have never thought that way. Original paint reigns in my house.
Your fabric idea is good . The top and bottom ones you could sew bigger pockets on to put packet sauces or bread mix etc. Noodles or anything light.
What a transformation to the cupboard. I was expecting more storage for the time and effort that went into the job however I'm sure it can be added to through time.
Yxes i agree It would be great to have the pouches on each panel
Beautiful. Very much worth the wait. Thank you for sharing. So much cherrier and brighter.
I don't know how you manage to draw people into your life. I always feel I am standing beside you. Love your idea to make such a great storage system.
This was brilliant and I was as excited as you two as you designed your idea and constructed the final project which turned out not only perfect for utility purposes but also eye catching, homey and brought life into the cabinet! Bravo!
I love the way you recycle products to maximise its life. It is just so good and the history of each piece is just so interesting.

Very nice!!!❤
Beautiful doors now, and you can find the tools you need. Yippee

I’ve filed my kitchen utensils in the following categories: wooden….not wooden….lumpy. This is in celebration of having more than one drawer for the first time in years. Works for me🤓
