just a small query is it necessary, unless the blood doesn’t reach the left ventricle, exchange of gases wont occur …. it might possible when there is flow of blood from RA-RV and when there is pressure in the RV it may enter immediately into left ventricle before heading up into the pulmonary arteries ?….. thank you

Mam, my grandson Kartavya is admitted in AIIMS Delhi since 4th November. He is of 11 weeks and having moderate to large VSD. Since his weight is not enough and is of 2.5 kg, for initial treatment, his PA Banding has been done on 7th November, 22. He is with oxygen support. Today his oxygen support was stopped for testing, but after 1 hour only, his oxygen level went down from 100 to 65 and kid started crying.
Doctors are planning for VSD surgery after kid gains weight after 2-3 months. Can you advise Mam in the matter as to when he will not need oxygen support and other related issues? It will be very helpful for us.
I am 27 years old i have VSD from birth... But my vsd hole is small 3.5 mm... Doctor advised me to checkup regularly after 1-2 year and there is no other problems

After 6 months echo report showing as velocity of 4.24m/s and PG=72mmgg

You classified VSD as acyanotic but the symptom is actually cyanotic.
Vsd is acynotic disease than why symptoms is cyanosis
